While I didn't expect much due the price, I literally can not tell the difference between my in-computer condenser mic to this little guy unless you get really really close to the mic for a bigger "full" sound (better bass quality). My advice would be to go for a bigger, better version of this type of mic.

This is a pretty good mic. I was surprised on how clear my voice sounded on it. It's really worth the money! And it's also small so it's easy to carry around, especially since it comes with a carrying case. The only bad part is that the case does not have enough room to hold the USB cable, that's the only bad thing I have to say about it... Haha! Which is not really that bad.

I like to record band practices, but the internal mic on my iPad just didn't cut it. This mic is so small and compact that you can keep it in a travel bag with your tablet and never know it's there. The sound quality is very impressive for the size and price. While it lacks some of the high end detail of an expensive mic pumped through an audio interface (which I have), it sounds great overall and so easy to use. A great feature is the cardioid/omnidirectional switch. Overall, a great mic.

I use this mic to make backing tracks to practice my lead guitar with. When paired with Audacity, it makes a passable recording. It does not produce great sound quality but is good enough for my intended purpose. It's a good little mic for the right price

Fun and easy to use! Very compact. I can't rate the recording quality, though. I have a voice and guitar-skill that should not be recorded, but I won't hold that against the mic : ) I would recommend it for any beginning/novice use.
