The price for this item makes it an excellent value. The set-up was quick and easy. I simply plugged the receiver into the board and powersource, popped battries into the mic and had instant sound. After making a few tweaks on the board, the sound was clear and lively.

Comments about Shure PGXD24/Beta58A Digital Wireless System with Beta 58A Mic:

This works as expected. I like how clear the sound is. I wish it had a power button on the receiver, but that is just my personal preference. I don't like that the only way to turn it on is to plug it in. I would have given it a better star rating, but mine arrived defective. The replacement was fine though, so I don't think it is a huge problem. I just got a bad one.

Comments about Shure PGXD24/Beta58A Digital Wireless System with Beta 58A Mic:

I was conflicted on how to rate this. Mine arrived with a defect, which I am still working through with Shure. Getting inconsistent results when I turn it on. And when I say turn it on, I mean plug it in, as it does not have a power button. It is either the power supply or the receiver itself. I'm leaning towards the power supply.

When it works, it sounds great. I don't know if the issue is common. It would be a shame to give it a low review for an isolated case, but it is my experience with the product.

Shure support was very responsive, and I was impressed with that.

Comments about Shure PGXD24/Beta58A Digital Wireless System with Beta 58A Mic:

After researching mikes that would be the best for our group(southern gospel quartet) we settled on these. Sound was excellent, very light and durable, it was great to be able to practice and sing and have the freedom to move around the stage, we have 4 cordless Shure mikes and with the multi-channel search mode we have found no interference from the other mikes, well worth the investment. Musician's Friend by the way have the best price, I would also reccomend the warranty, just in case.

Comments about Shure PGXD24/Beta58A Digital Wireless System with Beta 58A Mic:

Great wireless system. I just used it last week for the first time, and the sound quality was amazing. The setup is easy; finding the right frequency is easy; it lasted a 2 hour rehearsal and a 4 hour gig, on two AA batteries and it's still got juice left. Digital is definitely the way to go. There is a huge audible difference in digital and the older non digital wireless systems.
