Sounds REALLY GREAT! Comfortable enough to wear the entire gig. No drop-outs, no feedback. A bit on the pricey side but, after using it for the past few months, I'm happy I spent the bucks and got something good. The diversity system (dual antennas) is the ONLY way to go if you are playing out.
Not a bad microphone but the wireless is just to noisy. I tried on 3 different PA's at three different locations and could never get it to quiet down. I'm returning it for a AKG C420 Wireless. Good luck with this unit.
I think Shure has a killer mic here. I like the sound quality. This mic appears to help with feedback problems that I have had with other cheaper mics. Also the wireless quality is great. No interference what so ever. One other nice feature that no one talks about is the automute when replacing batteries. No noise even if you pull the battery from the transmitter. Also indestructable. One of the performers lost the transmitter while doing his routine and the mic transmitter constantly hit the floor and never missed a beat. Wow!!
A must have for high impact vocal performances. They'll take a lickin' and keep on tickin'
Excellent quality and durability but lacks some necessary features. No bass, treble or even tone adjustment. Naturally bright sound cannot be adjusted unless plugged into a mixer with channel EQ. Transmitter pack does not stay attached very well. Thank goodness for the safety clip and the strong headset wiring because the transmitter falls off no matter how you attach it.All in all an excellent choice for daily usage. It can take the beating of a daily gig, and the range is superior.
