Love this headphone amp. Works great in my home studio and I've also used it on stage. Its quiet and has a lot of features. I've had it now for more than a year and it still works perfect! Buy it now!

Unlike most "multichannel" headphone amps, this one actually has four independent inputs plus a fifth "mix" channel. Others have one main and several auxiliary inputs for adding more of something. I have an ART headphone amp with that architecture. It does not work well in a band practice situation. With the SM Pro, you can amplify four mixes and make people happy. I'm a little concerned about the plugs for the headphones, but other than that it's very well built. The sound is a marked improvement in clarity over other options I've tried. Our band is running it with our Mackie DL1608 for practices. Side note: Get a Mackie DL1608. They are amazing!

Turned on for first time to test and found headphone amp #5 is defective. Only worked on left side. All others functioned as should. I read great reviews and had high hopes, but alas, here we are. I will replace it with my warranty after I finish some jobs I've already scheduled.
Still useable with 5 headphone amps, but a let down none the less.
Also sent a general question email to sm pro audio over a week ago. I'm still waiting for a reply, as they have no phone number to call.
