The GB4-32 is 32-channel, 4-bus console designed and constructed to ensure rugged reliability under stressful tour conditions. All input modules have individual vertically-mounted PCB's fitted to the steel chassis.
The mixing console is designed for performance venue installation or small touring system applications. The dual-mode topology allows it to to be used for FOH or monitor duties, with fader control of group or aux outputs.
Although largely conventional in layout, the Soundcraft GB4 does have some unique mechanical features. The rugged steel chassis has a sloping rear connector panel so that it is easier to configure from in front of the desk, while the integral power supply has a link option for an external backup PSU.
4 mute groups allow several channels to be muted simultaneously. Another unique feature is the limiter on a set of dedicated record outputs that makes it easier to create a stereo recording of the mix.
The Soundcraft console also features an output matrix with 7 feeds to 4 outputs, fed from the group buses and main L, R, and C (mono) outputs.
The GB4 Mixer offers a comprehensive set of functions in a small and cost-effective footprint, and delivers the high performance and reliability you expect from a Soundcraft mixer.

Comments about Soundcraft GB4-32 Mixing Console:
We bought this board when we saw its price nearly drop in half from what it used to cost. It has been an excellent buy. The 8 Aux's allow us to have six monitor mixes with 2 effects put into our live sound. We use this board for an 5-8 piece band week in and week out at our church and it may be the most reliable piece of equipment we own. The mute options are very well thought out, giving us options to mute up to four groups (i.e. drums, guitars, or the whole board). All in all, my favorite analog board I've ever used...
Comments about Soundcraft GB4-32 Mixing Console:
I've been using this board since 2007 and have never had a problem with it. The construction is Solid. The nobs and faders also have a very solid feeling to them. Layout is great. I couldn't find any other board in this price range with 8 auxs, very handy when mixing monitor from FOH...I love this consule...blows Allen and Heath, Mackie and budget Yamahas out of the water.
Comments about Soundcraft GB4-32 Mixing Console:
This is the best mixing board you can buy on the price range ... the sound is pristine and exceptional ... Ive used most boards on the market and let me tell you for the price this thing sound like one of the big ones and for only a fraction of the price! that a keeper .. the filters are god and subtle ... very good for recording and house ... the monitors are a little limited only six i would have loved to see at least 8 ! but nothing is perfect ! anyway This is really a good PROFESSIONAL board for small to medium gigs and one of those that will last forever ... sound craft is very good !

Comments about Soundcraft GB4-32 Mixing Console:
I have a pretty big Home Studio. Lots of instruments, mics etc. Using a big analog mixer lets me hook up lots of stuff and do a lot of things without touching the mouse. Anything can be directly patched into the computer easily, either pre or post fader/eq. Computers are great and have their benefits but to just grab an instrument and play without even booting up a pc is just way more inspirational. I'm amazed at the quality/cost. It's quiet and sounds awesome! I suppose I could complain that the documentation could be better, but I can't remember the last time i didn't complain about that. There are so many options here. The manual is thorough, it's just blandly technical. Who ever wrote the old Mackie 1604 manual with half a dozen different setup options detailed could really do a nice supplement to this one!
