Curved soprano is easy on the arms

This is a nice little horn at a great price. I bought it because my straight soprano made my hands and arms tired when I played. Now I can play for hours without problems. One BIG negative is that the lower register, starting from G down to D is VERY difficult to play since this horn, much like the Jean Baptiste horns imported for Sam Ash, do not resonate very well in the lower register. Good horns should not require a lot of changes to the embouchure, but if you are an experienced sax player, you should be able to adjust and get some sound out of these notes. I also bought a stand (K&M) for the sax. It is so tiny, it can be displayed on a piano or in a small room on the sax stand and I leave it out, ready for action, all the time. Make sure to push the mouthpiece way way in to get to A440 and play it near a piano to check the intonation. I've had the horn for a week, and so far, no pads have fallen off, which is a common flaw on cheap imported horns. Overall, I still recommend this unless you have the $2k for a pro-horn.

Well, when I was searching a new sax to buy, I thought just once in buying a curved soprano saxophone... But when I found WWBW, searching in the web, I made my mind and bought my new friend Vienna by Woodwind curved soprano saxophone. It sounds great and harmonics nice to get at altissimo line! And of course its price is the best thing!

Absolutely Amazing Soprano Sax

I've had this horn for going on 4 years now and I could not be more pleased with it. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding; it is still in practically new condition even after 4 years of more than standard use. It's never needed to have any work or repairs done to it. I've only needed to tune it once since I've bought it. What I find to be the best quality of this horn is how great the intonation is and how well in tune it plays. I've tried higher level sopranos (our school has Yamahas and SelmerÆs) and this one plays so much more in tune than any of them. It is so easy to play too. Within it's natural range from Bb to F#, it plays beautifully and with great ease at all dynamic levels. I've also never played a sax that can play altissimo easier than this horn. It can go easily up to an altissimo C but I've gotten it as high as G (over an octave out of its natural range). For the price, this sax is just unbelievable. You'd expect a horn this nice to cost so much more than it does and after having it for as long as I have had it, I know that its low price does not reflect any flaw in the quality of the horn. You get so much more than what little you pay for. This horn is absolutely amazing and I wouldn't trade it for any other soprano that I've ever worked with.
