I bought this power supply because i was previously using a visuals sound one spot that buzzed like crazy. To eliminate the problem i bought the supa charger from a local music store. The quality of this product is great and really is rock solid. I have no problem relying on this as my main power supply. The cables are plenty large enough for my massive board and there are tons of power options, 9v, 12v, 16v. The only 2 things i have to negativly comment on is the price and the fact it only has 8 outlets. Since I live in Canada the price needs to be converted to canadian dollars, plus i had to have it ordered in so in total i spent double the list price here, but i do think that MF has a very fair price for this. Second, it only has the ability to power 8 pedals. This means that i have to have an elaborate set up of daisy chains running off this to power my 15 pedals, but this is also a standard with all power supplies, i just wish somone would make an affordable supply with several more outlets.overall this is a fantastic product and definatly is worth checking out.

I am having so much trouble finding a good power supply. I had two Voodoo Lab bricks bad right out of the box (some ports were dead). I thought the BBE would be the one and it seemed to work. I recently got some new pedals and realized this i snot putting out enough miliamps to power anything to full capacity. Like the guy said, only outputs 5 and 6 are putting out 200mA, the rest only 100mA. This is like running boxes on a really weak battery. My new DD-20 delay would not turn on at all causing me to start checking the mA issue. Look for a suppry that is rated at well over a 1000 mA, it's not voltage, its mA power that counts. I realize all my tone is not what it could be and my Fulltone started humming not getting the push it needed. The search continues. Fulltone recommends the Voodoo brick but I had two bad ones right out of the box.

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

After researching pedal power supplies for hours, it came down to the BBE Supa-Charger and the Voodoo Lab 2. the only difference I could find was the Voodoo Lab has sag controls on two of its outputs—I don't use "low battery" sounds, so that made no difference to me. I believe the Supa-Charger was the better choice. I bought it hooked it up and now... all my pedals are working at full power, I don't have to replace batteries every other day and it's simply one power chord for the whole operation. The Supa-Charger is built like a tank and can take a beating "on the road". I will say though, I only use stomp boxes, if you have multiple different power draws on your board, a Fuel Tank is probably your best option.

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

I needed power for five guitar pedals. Went to the nearby music store and they tried to sell me a single power supply with a daisy-chained power cable. Anybody who knows audio knows that tying all the power connectors together creates noise-inducing ground loops.
So, I went searching for a supply with isolated outputs and this one fit the description. Each output is essentially a separate supply. This is like eight power supplies packed in a small box. Each output is electrically isolated from the others.
When it arrived, I set the DIP switches for the correct voltages (important!) and hooked it up. It works silently and flawlessly.

      Nice and flexible

      By Mark Huss

      from PA USA

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

      Solidly built, works as advertised.
Pros: Lots of voltage flexibility, and 12v is a good "up" option for many pedals. Runs my 18v compressor, my power-hungry digital pedal, and a number of others. Quiet.
Wish list: Aux power outlet like the 'other one.' More 200ma (or more) outputs. Two more (total) outputs would handy.

      BBE Supa Charger

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

      Highly Recommended.
Very well designed and well made power distribution for effects pedals. Fits pedaltrain boards that come with a factory adapter without modification. Super quiet with blue LED that illuminates the pedals enough so that you aren't switching in the dark...
Well built and very durable power supply. Better than some of the competitor's products that I have used.
9v batteries can become expensive and this unit will power up to eight effects pedals with no audible noise or signal drop.

      Works overseas!!!

      By White curry

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

I frequently travel overseas and play. However, I quickly found out that power converters aren't necessarily reliable. The 240v power in Asia blew up my stuff, which cost me a lot of money. Now I have the BBE Supa-charger, and I can flick a switch for either 120v or 240v electricity. Now I'm good to play in India or the US. It mounts underneath Pedaltrain pedal boards, out of sight, out of the way. It also can power the Line6 DL4, no problem. I love it.

      Solved my noise problems.

      By MXR fan

      from NY,NY

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

This product is excellent. I basically have two issues with noise: buzz from my guitar pickups and 60 hum/buzz from a pair of pedals I have set up on the floor of my rack case that are powered by a visual sound one-spot adaptor. Pickup noise was easily solved with an ISP unit but the noise from those pedals remained. I didn't want to put another supressor in my loop because it would cut my tone. Using batteries instead of the adaptor got rid of the nosie but I don't like relying on batteries for live playing. The supa-charger basically has the same effect as the batteries by isolating the power supply for each pedal so there is no ground loop. And obviously you can rely on it to work when you need it. It's kind of pricy for what it does but its essential if you run multiple pedals. Works better than the DC brick and less expensive than Voodoo Labs. I'm very happy I bought it. Everything is nice and quiet now.

      Hum Free Power

      By jem

      from Cleveland

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

This thing is nice and small and most importantly hum free. (Should have called in Humphrey eh?)Would have like to have a cable that attached to a battery for vintage effects, and a cable to combine a couple outlets, but that's minor. It does exactly what it says and for less than the Voodoo Labs.

      Great product - no hum!

Comments about BBE Supa-Charger Guitar Pedal Power Supply:

Most important thing to know with the BBE Supa_Charger is that outputs 5 and 6 are 200mA rated as opposed to the others that are 100mA. My EH Electric Mistress was intermittently shutting off and acting funky until I plugged it into one of the 200mA outputs. Now everything is perfect with no hum. Just make sure you know the power requirements of each pedal before you hook it up.
