Just a great desk if you have a good size setup, but of course not for a monster setup. It is not tiny, but will fit in a medium small studio or control room. I have a power conditioner with lights on top rack each side, and 3 8 channel interfaces with DSP on one side and the other side compressor, headphone station, and montor controller. THe added 6 space I put on the bottom, holds my more specific preamps, vocal tube etc....Fits my main gear perfectly and really cleaned up my area from a smaller desk, which was not really smaller based upon the speaker monitor stands, so much more efficient use of space ina limited space studio..
I give it a 10 based upon price, design, and construction. First it came by truck and had no problems, but be sure to answer your phone when they call to set up delivery etc...
The desk was simplier that you think when you open it to assemble. Took a couple of hours but without a hitch. It is solid and well built, the wheels, rack rails, and shelving are heavy duty, should last many years to come.
The function is great, love having the ability to get rid of my front monitor stands and put them on top with some pads. The wheels are handy and allow me to snug it in a corner, but easily access the back panel. The height is right for my chair and for comfort using. Looks very nice and streamline, not full of bulk, even when the racks are full. Of course, like others, would love a couple of additional 8 space racks on either side of the bottom. For the price, it is a great deal. I have already placed a wooden 6 space rack in one side and it fits and matches very well.

i wanted a console recording style desk to fill my rack gear in, otherwise I'd have purchased a regular desk from ikea (and not had to pay for rack drawers) for cheaper. not having the ability to place my gear in it, makes this desk next to worthless
has everything you'd want and then some from a desk of this price range, if it was pre assembled correctly, which its not.
The desk is beautiful but.... the rack holes do not line up which makes it useless for me. I called and they say its very likely i'll have to ship this ENTIRE 230 pound desk back. take it all apart, box it up (threw my box out already, the large one of the two). what a stressing migraine headache. the manufacturer knows this is an issue based on reviews yet they seem to be pretty stubborn according to the customer service rep and there is nothing in their info which states they'll just swap out their parts. it's so irritating to have rails that are welded on in the WRONG position. at least if they were screwed on to wood i could fix it myself.
it's a very fair price IF they had decent quality control and u got what you paid for

This desk has great Cable Management. They don't show you the power cord management in the pics very well so it was a good surprise. There is long black cable or brick holder on the back of the black backing grid. The grid holes can also be used to tie up your cables to it if you like, if you use something like twist ties thou the holes.

Comments about Studio RTA Producer Station:
I bought this desk used. I use this desk in a home studio - controller keyboard on main shelf. This means that my computer monitor has to go onto the top shelf. That places it about 8"-12" too high. I have to look slightly 'up' to see the monitor and after a long session of recording/mixing, it can make my neck tired. I will probably remove the entire top shelf, which will eliminate the slide-out shelf and small rack - but I don't need those anyways. The small black slotted tubes connecting the main surface to the top shelf are for CDs in full-size jewel cases. I got rid of them - I keep all my music software in a CD folio and have the cases stored elsewhere. Those tubes provide no structural support.

I actually purchased two of these for a surveilance center where I needed to install IP camera converters.. Fit four 19" LCD monitors on top shelf and installed computer in rack below.. Used the racks at top to mount equipment in and covered with blank rack panels. Everything looks much better now and my clients are happy that they didn't have to spend a fortune.. They really look nice! Especially considering the cost.. I plan on buying one for my personal audio/video studio and Mounting both audio and video machines in the rack! I am very pleased!

Comments about Studio RTA Producer Station:
I really love this desk unit. So functional and extremely sturdy! I guess the only issue I've experienced is with the rack gear mounts. Some of my rack goodies don't line up correctly. But I do notice that the issue seems to be mainly with some of my older rack gear so I don't want to blame the desk. It's not by any means a show stopper. All of my newer rack mount stuff mounted just fine. I even have an old 2004 Dell Power Edge rack mount server mounted in this baby! I had one old Fostex EQ that didn't want to play right with the other toys, so I tossed it. All good on everything else!
Comments about Studio RTA Producer Station:
Over all I do like the desk. It will hold up over time for my use. It's my home mixing desk away from my main facility. My main caveats are that it is noisy when you are mixing anything with low end. The metal on the bottom 4 support beams rattle even when the desk is ample tightened. In shipping my desk had one of the support beams broken off of the rivet so that is a bummer...
Swimming in features.
It feels sturdy enough.
A quality purchase.
Comments about Studio RTA Producer Station:
I couldn't be more satisfied with this desk, it fits my needs perfectly, it arrived in good shape, went together well, and everything is right on it. Being on casters means it's easy to move away from the wall if I need to wire something else in somewhere, or whatever. This desk has made my studio lightyears easier for me to work in just by giving me a better way to organize it.
Room for my computer, 2 23" monitors, a pair of studio monitors, hard drives, midi controller, key board, mouse, interface(s), headphone amps, compressors, mic pres, you name it.
Only real wood could get this a 10, but this is a step up in quality from the cheap particle board stuff you see in big box stores, the wood is a little thicker, and the finish is better. Also, I had no problems with anything lining up. Assembly was pretty much a breeze.
Ok, it's still a lot of money. But honestly, for the money, it's easily the best product out there.

Its perfect.
I love this desk. The assembly is very easy and quick and has a great manual. The desk has the prefect amount of space. Very stable! I love it!
