This is absolutely the best metronome on the market. People said earlier that you can't keep the light on when it says clearly in the instructions to press and hold light and power at the same time and it will remain on. The built in coach feature is great for warmups. I love the memory settings because during high school I had drumline, jazz band, show choir, and my other bands songs all programmed into it with space for more. The bad thing was when the battery died all my tempos were gone and it was a pain to redo them all.

Lots of features.  The display is VERY small.  Many of the key indicators are too small to see quickly.  The blinking light is also to dim.  I also have the Tama Rhythm watch which has a better display and much easier to use.  It does nto have all the features of the Dr-90 but is much more practical for a drummer.

Our praise band uses this metronome.  As the worship leader, I ask the drummers to please use it. Playing with a metronome makes the band a much tighter band.  We find the battery lasts through about two weeks of services.  This would be six services and approximately six to eight rehearsals.  We use an Aviom system for stage monitoring and have a dedicated line for the metronome.  The roller dial is useful for quickly dialing up the next song tempo.
