Comments about Celestion Tube 10 30W, 10" Guitar Speaker:

Sounds good for a clean channel pushed by an epiphone valve jr. 5 watt head. Beautiful overdrive tones but it can't handle heavy bass alone or heavy distortion. So plan on buying two of them. I play one with the valve jr and I can keep up with a line 6 lowdown 1x12 150 watt bass amp turned up to 1 o'clock. I plan to buy another

Comments about Celestion Tube 10 30W, 10" Guitar Speaker:

I like the punchy lows, even mids and high's. I do not find this speaker muddy, I play a Gretsch 5422 hollow body and the lows stay together very nice. mids and highs will not part your hair.

Comments about Celestion Tube 10 30W, 10" Guitar Speaker:

Best when cranked. Would not recommend for home use at low volume, they're very boomy in that application, even in the high end. Since I have not been able to let them rip, I couldn't tell you what they sound like when cranked, for all I know they're wonderful when you let it rip, but for home players trying not to get evicted, avoid these. Bear in mind I'm using one of these with a VHT Special 6 so a lower wattage speaker might be a better option, I think this speaker requires a bit more push than a 6 watt amp gives at low volume. I get the sense that if I could let it rip, it would get brighter and lose the boom. They're probably decent with other amps able to drive them hard.

Comments about Celestion Tube 10 30W, 10" Guitar Speaker:

In a 1x12 cab at home.
Serves to enhance my 5-watt Vibro Champ XD, esp. well for my heavy blues-rock sounds.
            Full-harmonized, accurate, spaced-up and not ear-blasting medium-highs.
            Basses coherent and not overwhelming.
Recommanded for single-coil axes in order to "fatten" the sound.
On a 4-Ohm ouput, absorbs a fraction of the amp output, so I turn up for more lamp juice.
Can serve well in parralel with a brit-metal speaker.
