I put these strings on my venerable out classical guitar.
This is probably the 30th plus set of strings I have put on it since I restring it at least once a year.
I don't use the guitar heavily. actually only use it to transcribe material etc.
These are by far these are the worst guitar strings I have ever encountered.
They will not stay in tune for more than a few minutes.
At first I thought it was the bridge winding that where slipping but it is not they simply will not stop stretching.
they lose a 1/2 step overnight easy and they have been on the guitar over a month.
Bought a new set from a different manufacture from the local cheat shop.
put them on and them on no more tuning problems.
Take the advice of a pro and do not buy these junk string.
I normally am easy on my reviews but the quality of these strings are so Bad you need to know.

The best

Comments about D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings:

I have used Kaman and Augustine blacks, but prefer these strings for classical finger-style above and beyond anything else on the market. I will not use anything else because nothing else sustains and lasts like EJ45s.

I found the perfect classical guitar strings

By Angel Caro

from Rincon,Puerto Rico

Comments about D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings:

I'm a classical guitarist and when I used these strings, I've found that they're the best classical guitar strings. When I used other brands, I had to change the strings every week, due to the abuse they received playing concerts, recitals and gigs almost every day. With D'Addario Pro-Arte, they last months not weeks.

Guess I am just used to better strings. I had been using coated, and got use to the feel.
These also sound very dull, even brand new.

    Pro Arte Strings

Comments about D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings:

I've used D'Addario strings on my electic and found they were the toughest for my heavy hand, then bought a classical 18 years ago and always string with d'adddario. I've tried a couple other brands but they didn't last as long!Cheers,DAVE

    D'Addario ProArte Classical Strings

    By R1Gyi1Wec

Comments about D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings:

I am not sure exactly how these are supposed to sound, but the set I just received were very weak in the trebles. I short, I was very displeased with the strings and just ordered two sets of the Augustine Red Label strings with which I have previous experience. The trebles on the D'Addario set were just very, very weak. I play a classical guitar, but in the flatpicking style as I like the tone and sound I get. Maybe these would be alright for a classical player, but they certainly did not suit my style. I hate giving bad reviews and do not want to slander a manufacturer, but the sound of these strings were not even close to good in my opinion.
