Special EXP coating extends string life dramatically without losing that natural feel!
- D'Addario: The EXP Story
An ultrafine layer of EXP Coating is bonded to the phosphor bronze wrap wire, then wound onto the hex-shaped core wire. The result is a built-in barrier against the corrosion and wear that can quickly sap the life out of your strings and your sound. Natural round wound feel and sound fresh and bright and last 3 to 4 times longer than traditional guitar strings.
Genuine phosphor bronze alloy retains flexibility as well as brilliant tone for many hours of hard play. Computer-controlled wrapping around a hex core ensures consistency and extends life. Many top players won't play any other brand.
D'Addario is the world's largest manufacturer of strings for musical instruments. Many top guitarists won't play any other brand. Regardless of your playing style, D'Addario has a set that's right for you.
EXP strings retain their brilliance long after similar bronze and brass alloy strings go dead. Don't wait for catastrophe, order several sets today.

Comments about D'Addario EXP23 Coated Phosphor Bronze Baritone Acoustic Guitar Strings:
These strings do what they say but I didn't like the overall tone and tension. the thickness of the strings was too much. The Low E got very clunky sounding. Almost like an acoustic bass would sound. the tension was too high as well for my 25.5 scale length acoustic! I tried the heavy gauge EJ18 Ddarrio makes but they were too slinky for a baritone tuning. I wish they made an in between gauge. They don't. Trust me I looked. If you want a baritone tuning buy a guitar with a longer scale length. I like alvarezs baritone guitars personally
