      Comments about D'Addario J64 Dulcimer 4-String Set:

I've used these strings for 5 years. I recommend them to each customer that purchases one of my custom built dulcimers. They produce a very consistent tone quality with each instrument.

      Work Well and Sound Good

      Comments about D'Addario J64 Dulcimer 4-String Set:

For a project this weekend, I cleaned up and fixed up an old cheap lap dulcimer that had two broken strings and screws instead of pegs for the ends of the strings to go over. I tried another set that wound up having the little brass grommets. I popped them out, but the loops still weren't big enough to go over the "pegs." When I tried unwinding them a tad, the strings just broke, period.
Tracked down a set of D'Addario J6401 strings. The loops were big enough to go over the "pegs" and the strings made this old piece of cheap wood sound better than it ever has. - Paul Race, SchoolOfTheRock
