Power your pedals and give them exciting new tonal options!

The DA-4 Dan Electrode 9-volt power supply is much more than a standard power supply. In addition to a solid and steady standard 9-volt output, it offers you a variable 3-9 volt option that produces gritty vintage tones from most distortion, overdrive, and fuzz pedals by starving them for voltage.

Add optional DA-5 Daisy Chain cables to the DA-4 to power multiple pedals (up to 15 total).

Features

  • Provides either fixed 9V output or variable 3-9V
  • Variable output lets you under-power your pedals for gritty, vintage tones

Steady, reliable power or cool under-powered tones...the choice is yours! Order now.

Comments about Danelectro DA-4 Dan Electrode 9 Volt Power Supply:

Sure, this is just another power supply, but it really suited my needs and really pairs well with my Danelectro pedals.

The form factor is nice and if you care about aesthetics and are going with a vintage look this will really fit the bill.

What turned out to be a pleasant surprise for me was the adjustable voltage dial. If you run an overdrive pedal with this, you can "starve" the pedal and get a little extra crunch.

I would recommend getting the Danelectro DA-5 Dan Electrode Daisy Chain Cable to accompany this unit.

Dan Electrode 9 volt power supply

    By Danny Newman

    from Virginia

Comments about Danelectro DA-4 Dan Electrode 9 Volt Power Supply:

Overall rating is very good. No complaints at this time. Does what it is supposed to do with a little added touch of the voltage adjustment wheel for varies sound outputs by reducing the voltage a little or a lot.
Nice adjustable voltage output wheel built in that can give you different sound levels, flat design allows multiple power supplies that take up very little room on a power strip to fit side by side. has an led light showing power is on.
Appears to be of good quality; nice long chord to pedals.
Very nice product for the money so far. Have had no problems.

Comments about Danelectro DA-4 Dan Electrode 9 Volt Power Supply:

It does exactly what it says it does, and these days that's really saying something. The thing is, it just gives you more overall control when it comes to your sound, and that's a good thing.

    cool beans!!

Comments about Danelectro DA-4 Dan Electrode 9 Volt Power Supply:

Dude, I just got this and it was so much fun testing it out with all my different pedals. I didn't notice much when I lowered the volts on my small clone, OC-2, and wha, but it really made my metal muff sound better. It made it much less nasal and more like a real thick, crunchy sound. It also made the sound a slight bit fuzzy, but not really that noticeable. If your into fuzzes you'll probably like this. If you use this on distortion you'll probably have to bump up the level a bit though. Only downside is that it made the EQ on the muff less sensitive, think of how your amps EQ reacts when you turn the knobs. I'm not sure if I like this or not yet. To tell the truth, I barely move the EQ knobs out of the 11:00-2:00 position so its not like I'm losing much. With lowering the volts I reset the EQ now with mids all the way up. This would sound way to middy under normal conditions but I really like how it sounds now. Just got this so I haven't used it live yet, but I think it will prove its worth. I recommend buying this if you have a dist./fuzz/od. That just doesn't sound the way you want. give this a try and it will open up new sounds and possibilities.
