Miss the old original F-150 strings from Fender. These strings do a good job but they are nickel/steel unlike the original F-150. Fender needs to come blackout with these gauges again, but in the mean time ill prolly stick to these when I need F-150

It's good to see someone is still producing these like Fender used to - nickel and steel - great combo for long life.
This has been my favorite guage for over three decades.
AND - I didn't know this until recently - Jimi Hendrix used this guage string also.
The old Fender F150 Rock-n-Roll guage set. The strings that made history.
Heavy on the light strings - light on the heavy end. Great blend of tonalities - allows you to use the amp for tone and you don't have to play as hard.
More control on the bends and you don't wipe your your fingers on huge would strings.
Not for everyone - but those that like these seem to prefer them.
I buy them in lots of 10 or more.

perfect. lite. great for les paul. if you play lead or chicken-pick a tele' -- strings feel more consistent...last forever!!!!! banged out pistols back in the day...noise maker, power chorders may prefer heavier bottoms (bells even)

I always wanted heavier strings at the top and lighter at the bottom. When I tried them, I just fell in love. It's a shame they haven't got it for the 7-string yet.

These strings totally suck. If you want to break a string mid-set, buy these mothers. if not, dont be a fool, ernie ball all the way.
