Does not fit a stock strat pickguard hole.
I guess it would work alright. I talked with the Customer service and was told this would fit my Fender Strat but the shaft diamater was way to small for the stock hole. I didnt want to go through the trouble to modify it to work so I sent them back. I would purchase them again and use them with no hesitation if the shaft size would fit my pick guard.
Just be aware that the shafts are a lot smaller than a stock pot shaft on an american made strat. You could get them to work but you will need different washers and something to take up the slop around the shaft where it would go through the pick guard hole.
They may work great but I ended up returning them.

I bought one of these to add another switch on my strat. Decided to buy two more to replace the others because they're so difficult to work with. These DiMarzios give you a much bigger terminal to solder to, a huge benefit when you're using quality guitar wire. All of the push/pulls I've bought from places like stewmac, wd, etc, all have tiny terminals which are a pain to work with.

I have purchased both the Gibson push-pull pot and this one. DiMarzio is way better hands down! I mainly appreciate the DiMarzio pot more due to the fact that the shaft is thinner than the Gibson shaft. If I wanted to put the Gibson tone control in my guitar I would have needed to widen/ream the holes. This one fits nicely right outta the box, has a very smooth taper, the pull-push movement of the switch feels solid, etc. Great job, DiMarzio!
