DiMarzio Instrument Cables are top rated by Guitar Player Magazine. They easily passed Guitar Player's "Zildjian cymbal guillotine test" and "jump rope test" of 9/97, demonstrating how well-built and reliable they are in real world conditions. Great cable for the money and rivals the boutique cables in clarity and durability!!!!
Let me first start by saying I usually don't give rave reviews for products unless they truly inspire me. Now that that's out of the way lets talk about this wonderful little cable, I play on a 5 string Carvin SB5000 and Yamaha TRB and this makes these bass sound even better than they normally do. I read reviews all the time about how cables don't make that big of difference in your sound and all I can say is those reviewers need to have their ears checked. I am assuming this is because they are either not completing the chain with all good cables, using low quality instruments/amps/effects pedals or just don't hear the differnce but I am here to attest to the clarity this cable gives even over my mogami cables, yes I said mogami. These cables exceed my expectations for cables in this price range, they have the clarity so you can hear the articulation in you playing, the presence in the mid range that my mogami cables lack as well as bottom end. Some reviews said they sound brighter than other cables, since I don't play guitar I can't really confirm this but on bass they are amazing, I am truly getting the tonal pallet I didn't know I was missing. If you have medium to high end instruments/amps/effects, your sound will be enhanced tremendously, I also ordered the new planet waves american stage cables and will a/b the dimarzio against them to see how they stack up. In short I don't know of any other cable in this price range that will give you this much bang for buck, I have not tried every cable out there but I have and own cables from whirlwind, mogami, monster,hosa,rapco horizon, other store's cheapy's, planet waves circuit breaker and a whole lot more and these sound best to my ears. They are lined in a pvc/nylon overbraid covering and switchcraft jacks so they should be bullet proof and provide years of servic as well as not kink to badly. So if you don't want to spend a lot on one cable you can by two of these for the same price and get 95% of the goodness, so stop reading and order them already!!!!!!

OK. so this cable may be built like a tank, but it does not last. The first cable I bought for my bass was some no name thing like 25' long. I bought this as a way to get about ten less feet out from under my feet when I was practicing and b/c I like tweed. So I get the cable, instant sound improvement! After six months, the slightest movement causes VERY loud obnoxious scrach/squeak/static noises! NO GOOD! and it tangles very easily. do not buy. Go with a good reputable company like bullets or ernie ball!

I'm new to the guitar world. I just purchased my first electric. It came with a cable that resembled the wire on a clock radio. Sooo.. a no-brainer to get the DiMarzio. This cable is nice. I really like the heavy-duty plugs on each end.I know I will have this one for awhile. Cool cable.

I've had two of these for an entire year. I am an active musician, writing and recording music all the time. The sound from these two cables are still crystal clear just like they were when I bought them and have never found a better instrument cable. I LOVE these and am buying my 3rd cable right now. I loved them so much that when I needed a mic cable I bought a dimarzio. Bad choice, they don't make good mic cables, but you can never go wrong with a dimarzio instrument cable. For long distances, I just get an adapter and connect 2 Dimarzio cables together so I can record in different rooms. I may be only 16. But I've been working with cable for 6 years. These are fantastic. They don't go bad. I may not be suprised if these guys last a lifetime. I don't think I will EVER have to replace a broken instrument cable ever again. GREAT BUY.

if you care about how you sound you should get some of these. its a good investment.
its over braided, has nice jacks, and it has a very strong feel.
very high quality. it dosent color the sound at all. very strong. you could use it as a jump rope if you wanted. lol
its a tough cable and its not to expensive considering the overbraid and nice materials used to make it. i have 2) 18' cables, 1) 10' cable, 2) 6" jumpers and 3) 18" jumpers (all red) and they were well worth the money

These cables appear to be very durable, but they started fizzling out after about 1 month. Too bad because I wanted to like them. I have budget cables that have never failed me. Beware...

They sound great. Very loud, clear, and bright. They have Switchcraft connectors. All of my guitars have Switchcraft jacks. So it couldn't be any better. I'll buy more.

If you dont want to drop 60-70 buck on the best cables go for these i bought them more than a year ago and they are holding up fantastically even the braid around it isnt fraying or anything. tone comes through very clear sounds especially bright considering i play in lower tunings
