Replaced the jack on my 1985 Les Paul. It was a painless install and everything worked out like it was supposed too. Sounds awesome.

Easy to solder, worked fine out of the box. I'm slowly upgrading a cheap electric guitar and its loose output jack was next up.

Easy install and the plug fits nice and tight. I recomend it to upgrade any axe since it is so inexpensive, easy to install and everybody hates when cords fall out!

I was completely blown away by how perfect the Switchcraft is. The washers are all perfect size and a completely better replacement than my already damaged output jack. I took my damaged guitar back to Sam Ash and the guitar techs there couldn't tell that the output jack was broken and just gave my guitar back to me. I ordered the switchcraft and it was worth the money. DiMarzio made this jack to give the base input a very respected noiseless tone out of the installed guitar. If you have a very noisy/loose output jack, the Switchcraft is where you should invest your money.

i had bought a bc rich warbeast and after a few months the jack started to get really loose and make crackly noises when you made any movement so i got this jack and its great the total sound of the guitar was better and its been in for about a year now and it still holds the cable nice and tight id recommend it to any one

I needed a new jack after I messed mine up (dropped the guitar on it's side, still plugged in. it stripped the nut on the jack and after that it was very loose and constantly broke the wires off from so much movement. I was tired of constantly re-soldering the wires) SO I bought this jack to replace it with. I noticed it was nicer (a little bigger, thicker) than the stock jack, but the real surprise for me was that there's no longer any hum on that guitar when plugged in! A nice accidental upgrade :) I'm thinking of eventually installing one in each guitar I own. Recommended!
