Comments about Dunlop BMF Leather Strap - Wide Boy:
Wide boy is right. This thing is fat. I put it on my new SG, as I wanted a high quality strap for my new axe. It is very comfortable and I am very satisfied with it. My only complaint is that it's so big I can't find a way to get it into the guitar case. I guess you can't have everything.
Comments about Dunlop BMF Leather Strap - Wide Boy:
I got this strap for my birthday and it is amazing. I like the length because I have an Ibanez IC-300 and it is hard to find a strap with a nice length for the guitar. The IC-300 is not a heavy guitar but i like wide leather straps. The strap has broken in nicely and is the best strap I own,but it is a little pricey. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a quality leather strap.
Comments about Dunlop BMF Leather Strap - Wide Boy:
I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro. I LOOOOOOVE the guitar, but holy cow is it heavy. Its non-chambered, so you get the real deal Les Paul tone that most models cant give you. But you also get all 12 pounds of back ache! Plus all of the 2" wide nylon straps I have felt like they were digging into my neck and shoulder whenever i would play with my band. This strap spreads the wieght very evenly, and feels very natural. It actualy made the guitar feel a lot lighter! Plus the leather and stitching is very high quality. Plus it was on sale when I found it!!! And even if it wasnt I would still buy it again. If you have a heavy guitar, or play for long sets, you cant get a better strap!!
Comments about Dunlop BMF Leather Strap - Wide Boy:
I was going to buy another maker's extra-wide strap (that I already own) when Musician's friend put this on sale for five dollars less. It is a half-inch narrower but padded, while the other is only a single layer of leather. This strap is very comfortable when standing with heavy guitars. There's nothing between them for comfort, but this strap is heavier and less flexible; I am counting on it breaking in eventually as it actually keeps it's shape while supporting a Les Paul and doesn't contour to my shoulder like the other strap, which means it is very stiff. It is thick and made installing quick-release strap locks a little tougher than usual. This is a top quality strap and should last a lifetime. If you need a super-wide strap that is comfortable holding up the heaviest guitars, this is it.
