Does exactly what it should

Features:

It can power 8 pedals @ 9 volts or 3 @ 18 volts. I have 8 pedals in my bass rig and it solved one problem immidiately. My Aguilar AGRO was humming until I used the DC Brick. I couldn't be happier. I was surprised at how small it really was, like others have mentioned. The blue light is BRIGHT but matches my FloorQ light and the blue light on my MarkBass too. A nice accidental theme I guess.

It came with all the wires I needed to run all my pedals.

Quality:

It really is built like a brick. It's dead simple and has very little that can go wrong. Fit and finish looked fantastic when I got it and still does.

Value:

You can't touch what it does for the price. To be honest it was the main reason I got it. I learned how great it was AFTER I had owned it.

Overall:

It solved a problem I had with my sound, it solved a problem I had with my power solutions and it did so in a very tight little package.

If I get more pedals I would not hesitate to buy another of these.

Great Brick

Features:

Much smaller than I imagined. This little guy solved a lot of my problems. I used to have spaghetti of hum generating transormers and cables. Now I said good bye to hum and tangle. It powers both input and effects loop at the same time with no interference. It powers my 18 and 9V pedals with ease.

Quality:

Well built. Lots of patch cables.

Value:

Good bang for the buck.

Overall:

Awesome

Throw Bricks At Your Daisy Chain

| Review By: KMHrock89 | 4 months, 6 days ago

1 people out of 1 found this review helpful

Features:

Compared with everything that I have seen including the Voodoo lab, I think it offers the most for the best price. 7 9V, 3 18V. Plenty. If you need more, well, dang.

Quality:

Not rating because I haven't even had it 24 hours. I can say, though, it is a VERY tough piece of equipment, meant for the long haul. The jacks move around a little inside, but thats no concern to me. Yet.

Value:

Given everything you've got, and the flexibility this power supply gives the guitarist, why is this NOT a good value?

Overall:

I have four pedals, including the Boss TU-2 with pedal output, and I daisy-chained to an MXR Carbon Copy Delay, Fulltone OCD, and Line6 Uber Metal (not in that order). And YES, I am planning on getting plenty more. I didn't think I had problems with tone or sound. Then my chain cord shorted out, I got this after my satisfaction with the Carbon Copy (Dunlop brand). I hooked it all up and wow, I can tell a difference in clarity and everything. No Holy Grail time effects so I can't address the noise issue. It is well built and the 18v to my OCD makes it really sing now (side note). The Brick costs a lot more than a chain but versatile with 7 9V outputs and 3 18V outputs. I don't see how you can go wrong with this.

Oh, and yes, the blue LED is very bright. I love that though. It and my Carbon Copy are going to make me glow blue when I play. That excites me.

DC-Brick Multi-Power Supply

| Review By: MrScotty | 5 months, 2 weeks ago

4 people out of 4 found this review helpful

Features:

Features are simple and can handle up to 8 pedals requiring 9V power, and 3 requiring 18V. The DC is very compact for the amount of pedals it can power. The power light is a cobalt blue and very bright. No hum, and totally a quiet operation.

Quality:

Built like a mini Sherman tank. Durable and rugged. Should last for years and years.

Value:

Compared to its competitors, it is by far the biggest bang for the buck, and handles more pedals, too.

Overall:

I recommend this pedal for any musician that expects quality on a budget. If it were stolen or lost, I would buy another. I have used just about all the power modules on the market. Most of them are sold on their name brand and can not deliver on the price, but the DC comes through on all of the above and is made by a name you can trust. Buy one of these and you will be glad you did.

Overall:

Only problem I had is when I use it with my holly grail it makes a bad back ground noice, so I have to use it's own power supply. I read this is common with time based effects.
