Get these 2 Texas Heats and 2 Swamp Thangs with this money-saving Eminence 12" speaker set.

Both Eminence speakers included in this kit are well known for their abundant low-end response, headroom, and fullness. The Swamp Thang speaker provides deeper lows, sustain, warmth, and a thick chunk to the mix. The Texas Heat speaker provides an interesting contrast in the lows and lower mids, adding tightness and punch. It also contributes crisp, cutting mids and nice top end bite and clarity without adding any harshness or ear piercing highs. Bass with clarity and clean headroom are the keys to this mix. Feel free to add distortion as you see fit. Each replacement speaker is 16 ohms.

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

Picked these up at a killer sale price on MF. Loaded them into a dead sounding Peavey HP4x12 I bought used from MF as well.

These speakers blow away the stock Peaveys by a long shot. Makes a low-end(cheap) cabinet thump and sing at the same time. Love them. "Monster Metal" is misleading. These sound great for everything I like to play. Jazz, blues, hard rock, groove metal.

Speakers don't break up unless you are running 100% of 100 or 120watts into them from your amp. which I like because I like my amp to break-up my sound and my speakers to reproduce it beautifully clean. This helps when running crazy amount of distortion and compression.

        Overall
I am very pleased. Will be buying another Peavey cabinet and a set of these speakers in the near future.

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

i installed these in a kustom q412a cabinet to replace the weak sounding celestion super 65 speakers. i wired them in the x pattern. i sit my kustom coupe '36 tube amp on top and run that into these 4 speakers. i have a gibson sg with p90's and jammed blues/rock with some people tonight and got continual compliments on my tone. i was told my playing sounded like a ribeye sandwiched between two tenderloins. these speakers mix nicely and just have a great thick fat sound. i think eminence is doing themselves a disservice to label this the "monster metal" kit...these speakers are not one trick ponies for just metal. they sounded great with rolled back volume to light blues overdrive. couldnt be happier.

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

These are awesome speakers for metal, may work for other styles, but they really shine with metal. Nice tight low-end with just enough mids and highs. I wired them in a cross-pattern in an old Mesa Boogie cab and they sound amazing! The old MB has never sounded so good!

              The sound!

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

I got these replace the V30's in a Traynor cab that I picked up on the cheap. Using a Triple XXX with the V30's just wasn't doing it for me and the amp sounded really bright and ice-picky so I did my research and got these. I couldn't be happier with these now, both live and in the studio they deliver the tone I want to hear - full clear low end with a nice mellow top. I've had them for over a year now and can safely say that they're broken in and will probably outlast me. I play hard rock - metal and the first time I got to fire up the cab at gig volumes everyone commented on how amazing my rig sounded all of the sudden. Overall, well worth the money if you know what sound you're going for - most people that are disappointed with gear they buy, didn't really understand what it was supposed to do in the first place.

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

I bought this speaker combo to replace the less than stellar speakers in my Ibanez Toneblaster cabinet. The low end coming out of these speakers is UNGODLY!Playing my Ibanez 7 string, with the mids scooped, these speakers are amazing!Playing my B C Rich with EMG picups produced everything from huge chugging death metal riffs,to Randy Rhodes mid heavy tone. It's all in there. These speakers sound as good or better than anything else out there. If you're considering upgrading to a better cabinet, you can save money by just changing your speakers.Installation was easy-just unclip the wires, and make sure you hook up positive and negative terminals correctly.

              Great Combo!!

Comments about Eminence Monster Metal 12" Speaker Kit:

My amp is a 2x12 120w tube peavey deuce, so i obviously didn't buy this 4 speaker package. But i do have a swamp thang & a texas heat in it and it sounds awesome!!!I rock an epi LP w/57 pickups swapped in & play strait up rock, not indy, not metal, just freakin rock man and these things bring the pain!! I've heard them described as producing a 'wall of sound' and that's about right. Thick, booming lows with a perfect balance of mids and with the texas heat in there u get just enough highs to bite thru the madness. Sounds especially good downtuned (big fan of e-flat right here) and would be great for metal as the title of the combo suggests. A guitarist/friend from a band we opened for asked to use my amp and played his strat thru it, sounded very nice as well. He doesn't use distortion and it still sounded real good, not like fender reverb clean (come on y'all!) but i was very impressed none the less.If u wanna rock, these'll bring the heat and not hurt ur back pocket so much. By far one of my best gear purchases.
