The best strings I have ever used.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

I have had a set of these on one of my guitars for over a year, it's a stoptail so no whammy bar, but still, a whole year! They last forever on my Floyd Rose equipped guitar too, but I change them every few gigs just in case. And, if you clean them everytime after you play, the tone stays bright too. If you find fault with these strings then you may be a little bit too hard to please.
    What features? They're strings.
I love them, they are the longest lasting strings I have ever used.
The other guitar player in the band I play in uses strings that cost about four times the price and they aren't any better than these and I pay a great price a set. Great value!

One of the many sets of strings I play. Overall I only have to change them once every 3-4 months before they lose their tone. Awesome tone and quality for a great price.

The brightest, trebliest, most long lasting electric guitar strings I have ever used - wonderful! I won't use any other electric guitar strings unless they are better than these (haven't come across any yet).

    Hard to find these

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

I like regular slinkys but the stainless steel sound awesome. 1st let me tell u I use them with seymore duncan dist pickups through mesa dual rectifiers on modern gain(at 10) They give your guitar sound more presicion and definition, clean tones also sound a bit more crystaly.

    I'm in Love

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

I've played with these strings on several occassions and can only find them through this website (easily). Their sound is amazing - they last so much longer. They are a little too twangy on my Les Paul Custom Special but that can easily be adjusted.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

I have been using these strings for years. Before my order of a few weeks ago, the strings lasted several months to years. This latest order of 3 sets brought: high E (9) broke in 1 week, B (13) broke in 2 weeks, the next day the replacement (from the second set) broke in 1 day! I don't know what has happened, but I recommend avoiding these strings until quality control (or materials, or whatever) has returned to what it used to be.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

I needed a string with higher out put for my 57 classics on my Les Paul and these did the trick. If you need more punch and output from your guitar try these out. They hold intonation well, bend easy and generally sound great. Bright cleans or dirty rhythms, these are a great choice and you'll get more sustain too! So givem a try.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2248 Super Slinky Stainless Steel Electric Guitar Strings:

Im experienced but im a dabbler on guitar, I also play bass and drums. got a smokin deal on a Strat, wanted lighter strings. I was always a fan of SS strings since Kamen introduced them in the 80s. good for harmonic tricks very hot. My musical tastes have mellowed with my age and I think the cobalts may suit my tastes better tone wise while still having the conductivity. Luv these, but will probably try the cobalts next round..
