My expectations weren't too great, I suppose that I expected to have to compromise if I wanted a gig bag to match my Stingray V bass, but I was pleasantly surprised to open the box and find a genuine Levy's Canada tag on the back of it. If you've ever had a Levy's anything, you can expect for it to be of superlative quality. The only reservations I have are of the baggy looking storage compartment that also bears the Musicman logo, so that the logo always looks sort of distorted, furthermore, the baggy-looking storage compartment is of somewhat thinner material and the compartment's zipper is "plasticky". That being said, the compartment is commodious and swallowed a Boss TU-2, a Mesa Boogie V-Twin supply and a strap. The single shoulder strap is a bit on the thin side and digs in to your shoulder. Dual shoulder straps with heavy padding, like the kind that G&L bass players are lucky enough to enjoy would be mucho appreciated. The bag does fit low on your body so that you aren't forever banging your headstock on the tops of door openings like with most gigbags. Overall, I really like this bag, just wish it had the aforementioned dual padded shoulder straps, so that I might ride a bicycle or motorcycle to the gig.
