I was dissappointed to find out this case does not fit my LTD 417 7-string guitar. Even though musiciansfriend Recommends this as an accessory?? its still being recommended so i figured i would write a review warning people that THIS WILL NOT FIT YOUR 7 STRING!!( the body mold is almost 1/4" out on one side) Besides that, the craftsmanship on this case is terrible for the price.The edges of the case are not cut straight so you can see gaps even when its clamped shut.In my opinion your better off getting something cheaper thats built better like a roadrunner case.

Over this case is very nice. I will say I have never had a true hardshell but I'm guessing this would be one step below that. Again, make sure it fits your guitar before buying.
Nice case but make sure it fits before purchasing. It does NOT fit the esp h-308 8 string guitar despite what others say.
No neck strap lock/tie down inside but there is a nice rather large area to keep your strings, tools, etc....
Very nicely made. Inside is nice and plushy with a generic body mold to hold your guitar.
A little pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Overall a great case. Has nice tolex covering and locking latches. Very plush inside and a cubby space with a lid for straps and string packs. I don't know why anyone would complain like some other reviewers have, but I own over a dozen different cases and this is the best looking. Can it tear the tolex or get damged, yes, but unless you buy a generic universal case with a hard plastic exterior which can cost 2 times the price also; then this is a great case with the ESP logo. I have the other cheaper ESP style without the leather ends and stitching like this one has, for my LTD Eclipse, and that case seems a bit thinner and not as flashy as this one. If you have an ESP/LTD then just get a matching case! My custom Ibenez hard case cost way more, but my Shecter fits in it nicely and some other guitars, but not my MH-417, so I had to get this.

The case is great if you just use it to keep your guitar in and to take it on the road, but DO NOT try to walk ANY distance with it. You will RUIN your hands because the handle is PAINFUL!! I'd go with padded gig bag instead.

I just recently purchased this case to protect my esp. mh400. When I bought it I didn?t realize it would be as well built as it is. Has a nice amount of storage space and the interior is more than enough to make my guitar happy when it?s not in my hands.

ESP is an awesome company but they must have contracted out the manufacture of this case. The quality is lacking completely. I use it just in my bedroom and the latch has fallen off, the inside strap broke, and the lid is very thin. A gig bag would give more protection. I do not recommend you buy this case.
