Gig box was what I needed, only drawback was the lack of a cover template to mount mixer, and media player on. Other than that, I was well pleased with my purchase.

I titled the review, "Worth The Wait" because the unit was backordered for two months. In this economy, it's understandable if a company assembles and ships only what they have actual orders for. Overall though, for whatever reason, I'm glad I was patient and didn't settle for another comparable item.
Nice, clean and slick look. Rubber feet on the bottom saves floors, prevents sliding around, and acts as shock absorbers. Deep dimentions allows for longer power amps. Back hatch door with cord hole is key for easy access. Like another reviewer said, if your mixer doesn't dip too far below the top rails, this is really a 9 space rack in the front! I just added some small spacers between the mixer rails and top rails, and walla; I've got 7 single space units, and was able to add a 2 space drawer for accessories!
Very sturdy construction that you would expect from any of the top comparable products; latches are solid and all edges are lined up well. It was a little bigger and heavier than I imagined from the pictures, but with that said, it will definitely protect anything I put inside. If at first, the included rack screws are a little stiff, use older ones you might have laying around, especially on the top rails for some reason.
Priced just under pretty much every other model in its class.

i have bought this item for a home use pa system. it is very roomy the 10U is up top and the 8U is in the front. the rack bolt holes arent exactly on center but only ran into it when i was mounting my numark cd players and controller. there isnt a provision for supporting anything in the rear (like heavy amps). overall this unit is made to protect your gear with its 1/4" plywood structure and each corner has a solid METAL corner protector. the handles feel heavy duty and i estimate with my gear its well over 125lbs and they feel just as sturdy as when the racks were empty.
its not much to look at if your looking for something to sit in a living room (my wifes only complaint) but it is deffinately a good deal.

First of all, I bought the Mackie CFX12 mkII Mixer, and the Crown XTi series Amps to power my 12" Floor Monitors and my 15" Maines. I plan on buying another XTi 4000 to power the Subs. I needed a rack case that will hold all that, plus a conditioner and possibly a crossover because im playing small to medium size gigs. This Mixer/Amp case was pretty much perfect for what I need right now. Im not really sure how good the Quality of the case is compared to other brands because this is the only one I have bought so far. My only complaint is that it should include the Rack Rails in the back, so your Amps would be more secure, (Which Crown amps requier). Im going to buy some rails soon, I am gonna have to drill a couple holes and look for the same kind of scews that will match the front rails, and ad some ply wood (Maybe paint it black), and glue them in the back to even it out, and install the rear rails. It would have saved alot of work if they only encluded the rails in the back. other than than its a good Rack Case for what I am doing.
