Best Uses

  • Capacitor Sound Change

Comments about Fender Guitar Upgrade Resistor Metal/Carbon Film 4.7K 1/4W NTE:

This is not the easiest capacitor to locate, but, Fender has done that. It does change the value of the tone, toward the "grease bucket" sound, which is how it is described. Even though it is used on some of the less expensive Fender guitars, it works better with quality components. Just another interesting sound quality enhancement. I believe that it is a choice, and that it is not for everyone. Soldering knowledge is a must. If you are unsure of your soldering skills, it would probably be best to have a professional technician do the work.
