Fender Standard Koil Kords Cables are not the typical vintage coiled cable designs from the 60s with severely rolled off highs and questionable construction methods, but rather a newer interpretation that still does justice to the past without ignoring modern needs.
These cables are engineered to preserve what is good about the original coiled cables without their problems and compromises. They do
have the distinctive coiled cable voicing, but with a quieter background resulting from a twisted pair design using separate signal and
return conductors, in addition to a double shield. However, the stranding of these cables was optimized to compensate for the coiling,
which adds inductance and affects the sound. The use of heavier gauge OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) conductors and better noise isolation provides a wider range, more open sound, as well as freedom from noise and interference that can compromise recording or live sound performance.

I bought this becouse I needed to connect a pedal that had it's output on the side with a pedal that had it's input on the top, and I didn't want to do terrible twisty things to my regular patch cords. It works great! I put 8/10 on value because i definately do not need to replace all of my pedal coupler cords with these. I totally recomend this if you have any wierd situations that a regular patch cord won't be optimal for.
These are great cables with good sound. I'm not worried about them ever breaking. I replaced a couple of decent, but cheap pedal couplers with these and the slight hiss that was in my rig (and only noticeable when turned way down) disappeared.I gave a 3 on value because I find it hard to justify buying one of these for every pedal I use. No remorse, but make sure this is what you need. I haven't tried the longer guitar cables; for that I recommend the Vox as the cable seems to have a better weight and feel, and doesn't kink up like these can.
These little babies are great! You can't beat the price. And if you are like me, my patch cords have to be able to go through and around and next to and all over the place. I use four of them in my setup, which is kind of complicated. I need versatile cords which are reliable and flexible. These Fenders do the trick and they look cool too. Buy some!
these are really great cables, the coil keeps them out of the way, they do have a vintage vibe and a very subtle vintage interaction with your signal. they connect pedals together with a little added "modern vintage" touch.
I bought this cable to use with my distortion and wah-wah pedals and it works great. The coil is great because you can either have a short cable or one foot. It is also good for small spaces. Overall it is worth the money.
