We just got 2 of these and I love them. I was able to put my instrument and AC cords, spare cords & pedals in one bag, where I was using a tote bag and a small backpack. Easy to organize so I can find everything. You can customize them a bit by removing dividers in the main compartment if you like. Room for pens, business cards, notes, even a cellphone pocket. In the other bag we managed to fit all of our PA speaker cords (2 of which are 50 feet long), 4 mic cords, 4 mics, two more AC cords and another pedal. They seem very sturdy and well made so I anticipate them being rugged enough to handle the road. Worth the money although I do wish they had been cheaper...but worth it. The other bags available didn't really look like they'd do the job, this one does and more!
I'm still looking for the perfect bag, but I've never found a better one for a working guitarist. The top compartment fits cables, straps, and even folding guitar stands. The rear compartments are configurable to fit just about any guitar effects pedal as long as it is 11 inches wide or less. Sturdy construction, doesn't collapse under its own weight.
I just purchased this a week ago. When I got it home I was quite pleased with its size. Once opened I reached in to reposition the velcro shelves/made of cloth and vinyl - upon pulling them out I noticed that three of the shelves had ripped seams! I don't know about Fender value? I think Fender could have done a much better job. It might be best to stay away from this do it all case!
Listen up all, if you're like me and carry a crap load, this is PERFECT. I keep everything in here, My cables, foot switch, amp cover, strings, even a spare strap. This thing might cost a little too much, but it is awesome. I bought it for my brother, ended up keeping it for myself. I keep all my crap in it, and it would still fit more. Thankyou again Fender!
I've been carrying a bag for twenty years. I came from the railroad where everybody carries a bag. I've tried so many different ones that I know how to look for the features. This bag has more features than Clapton's got compilations. It has a square bottom and top, but it's soft canvas. The inside has nylon covered foam dividers that can be adjusted in size to hold anything you can get in it. The back has zippered access panels to three different layers of divider compartments. The dividers can all be taken out so you have one large inner compartment. There are copartments for keys, glasses, and just about anything you might carry. Ther's also a flat inner area for sheet music/papers. Small zippered net pockets for picks, strings, etc.I carry it for a work bag, but it can hold a half dozen pedals, cables, plus all of the other small stuff you would haul to a gig.Great job in picking this one out Fender.
