Comments about Fender Noiseless J Bass 2-Pickup Set:
Pickups came in the mail and I excitedly checked them for resistance to help determine which would go in the bridge and which would go in neck position. Upon checking the second pickup there was no DC resistance which means the circuit is not complete. I then slipped off the cover and discovered a broken wire sticking out of the top. I also immediately noticed that the wires had a piece of clear tape (like you would find in your desk)that were meant to hold the wires in place. I suspect that's the problem that the wires were not all properly secured.
The workmanship on the original pickups included on my mexican jazz bass far exceed the Fender Noiseless pickups.
I don't know how they sound because I didn't get to try them.

Just got these and took them and the guitar to my local Guitar Maker to put them in for me they worked for about 1 hour and in the middle of a show they had a pop crack then nothing the windings on these pickups are sooooo bad i have had fender pickups before back in the 80's and today they are made so cheap they used to wrap there windings with like a wax type of material now all they do is scotch tape them you have to remember those windings are very fragil and scotch tape is not going to do anything

These were an upgrade for my Mexican jazz bass. They made a big difference in the sound and tone! I would suggest that anyone with a Mexican fender upgrade to these!!

The Noiseless pickups are exactly that, they are silent. No more do you have to deal with that annoying buzz. These Pickups pack a serious punch, and if you add that too a 3 band EQ like in the Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass, the possibilities are endless. Enjoy
