I find this Fender RT 1000 very user friendly and true to tone (five string peavey fury, low b). It is a perfect fit in my skb rotorack with my hartke 3500. The inputs on front and back are easily configured, also the mute is a great addition. VERY good buy for the money
I've had this tuner for three months. It's really easy to use, has a huge display you can see from anywhere. It's a little slow, but if you don't try to rush it, it works great. I mainly use it for tuning my Fender American Deluxe P-Bass, but my guitar player plugs into the front jack and uses it too.
My Fender RT-100 fits looks cool, is solidly constructed and the power supply is built-in so no wall-wart. It is a tad deeper than my Furman power unit so it interferes with plugging wall-warts into the Furman. I get around that with 2 to 3 prong adapters. This tuner has 3 inputs so read your manual as not all inputs work alike! The mute switch is real handy. This tuner setup adds no noise, tunes dead-solid-perfect and I can't find anything to complain about beyond it being a tad deeper than my Furman. The only other downside is that the two guitarists now use my bass rack to tune up because it is easier to use than their tuners. They envy me. Power cable, manual and warranty card included. The demand for these units outstripped production since introduction and they have been scarce. You can pay twice as much for another rack tuner and it really won't do more. If you play bass and use a rack mounted amp I can highly recommend this Fender tuner! I feel fortunate to own one.
