I gave it 5 on features, because it does everything a capo's supposed to do.I give 5 on quality because while it is thin it seems strong and although others have reported breaking, I dont see this breakig if used on a thin neck guitar like a stratocaster which is what its made for.5 on value because the price is right and I've had it for a few years now and it still works perfect on my strat and small neck acoustic. Overall I love this capo and it just the right size and weight that you can stick it in your pocket or bag and its always there.For the ones who had this capo and it broke, Im figuring that maybe they got hold of a bad batch or maybe they were using it on a wider neck guitar.

I went to my local Musicians Friend shop and sense I'm just getting started in music, I limited myself to only $15 for a capo. Looking at this thing I knew it wasn't going to be a good buy, but they were out of almost everything else. The wire design is retarded, I get really bad buz all the time (which might be because I use it for bass) and it has begun to bend out of shape from being on the head of my guitar when I'm not using it. Fender can do a much better job than this.

This capo is great. It holds intonation well, sounds good, and it's stylish and unique. Overall, a good quality capo despite the look. However, for the quality rating I have to defer because after a few months, the spring snapped right in half. Was great while it lasted, but it's worth it to invest in one that will last.
Gotta subtract here because mine snapped in half after only a few months.

I have several of these because my students and friends keep swiping them. They are specifically designed for fender instruments though.

I bought this at my local Target, yup target. It was cheap and I needed a capo, so I got it. It worked fine for me. but I'd only recommend it for acoustics and fender strats. While I was waiting for my brothers bootcamp graduation ceremony, I took it out to play and it snapped in half. It sucked. But yeah, only good for like 2-3 months.

Exactly that, I had this for about 4 months, hardly ever using it, and all of a sudden it broke in half. Nothing I could do at that point, but put it where any piece of junk belongs. I plan on buying a real capo soon. Fender's normally so much better.

Its a good capo, but if you are not careful with it you can scratch the back of your neck like it did to my acoustic.
