Comments about Fretlord FretLightZ Fretboard Illuminator LED Light:
I bought this as a gift for my husband. The photo suggested that the light illuminated the entire fretboard. What it does is create a strobe effect on a small area. Not helpful at all.
I'm going to see if I can coax it to work as advertised. If so, I will follow up on this site.
Pros
- Cool Light Show

- Falls Off Guitar

Comments about Fretlord FretLightZ Fretboard Illuminator LED Light:
It's a real cool toy that makes a great light show on the fingerboard, and it helps you see the frets. Tried it on a bass (standup and electric) mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars and a banjo. It really was a hoot.
The down side is it falls off the headstock strings easily, and the whole thing falls apart if you touch it. I finally put some electrical tape on it ans it stayed together.
Comments about Fretlord FretLightZ Fretboard Illuminator LED Light:
I've owned this for over a year now, use it once in awhile. The batteries just pooped out after about 20 hours of use, and they were CR2016 batteries sandwiched together. I used a single CR2032 battery, which just happens to be as thick as the two originals. The light is much brighter than it ever was, and the battery is the exact same voltage so I'm pretty sure it won't hurt the LED (in theory at least). Anyway, it's not only fun and cool, but very PRACTICAL in a dark room when you can't see your frets otherwise.
