The Full Contact Hardware system with proprietary eCAM saddle technology offers dramatic tonal and sustain improvements to the standard Telecaster-type bridge. This is a direct replacement and universal upgrade bridge system for any electric guitar equipped with a traditional 4-hole mount or American standard 3-hole mount Telecaster or similar style fixed bridge. The custom guitar part provides an innovative solution allows for extremely fast and precise individual string height action adjustments as well as accurate individual intonation adjustments including a string height lock and an intonation lock feature.

Full contact over fifty times that of a conventional bridge saddle is always maintained between the saddle and the body of the guitar. The replacement Telecaster bridge has no gaps or voids to inhibit the transference of the vibration of the string and the resonance of the body. The Full Contact Hardware direct coupling system for Telecaster bridges directly replaces the existing bridge in either three- or four-hole mount systems. The eCam saddle design means that unwanted spaces between the bottom of the saddle and the top of the bass body are eliminated. I had an issue with the horizontal screws being too short to extend the saddles far enough for proper intonation, so I emailed Jeff Babicz to see if I got the right parts with my bridge. It appears that some teles have longer saddle adjustment screws- they are typically longer than the vintage style strats.
Anyway, I got an email back from Mr. Babicz the next day. I gave him my info and he had six longer screws out to me inside of 2 days! With that quality and responsive customer service, I will be looking at everything this guy produces. Best customer service and attention to detail I've seen since Michael Soldano (I have a Decatone). BUY THIS. It works great!
I have a mexican telecaster. I got this bridge to bring out some more sustain on an otherwise great tele. The sustain is incredible- big difference.
Highly-precisioned stainless and steel components- does not move once locked down.
Properly set up, this can make a mexican sound like a million bucks.

Read the reviews did a little home work , ask some questions and bought a Tele full contact bridge. Was not an easy install but worth the effort, had to ream the pickup screw holes as I installed it on a (Peavey Tele), do yourself a favor and do read the instuctions. When done and installed the sustain is approx double and it has a better twang than before I play it through my trusty old and (loud) Peavey Mace. I have twelve guitars from all price ranges but this bridge made my little knock off the easiest most fun to play, this was the best money I have spent on guitar parts to date. Thanks for a great product.

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

One of my classic gripes about Telecaster bridges, be they classic two-strings-per-barrel or one-saddle-per-string is that they never seem to intonate correctly. The Babicz Full Contact bridge not only corrects this problem, but introduces new features that allow you to set up your Telecaster to play like a dream. Their patented eCAM saddles allow you to set up your Telecaster bridge including the string height/action PER STRING!! How great is that!?!?!

Once I got the bridge installed, I immediately noticed that the guitar is ringing "truer" and that it is playing much smoother. This is a piece of hardware that anyone unhappy with their Telecaster setup can't be without.

I am now looking at the Stratocaster model for one of my Strats. This is a solid product. I'm still happy as can be with my Telecasters and looking to improve upon my new strat.

Well worth the investment

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

First, let me start by saying I've been playing for more than 30 years. Had this installed by the local tech on an American Fender Deluxe Telecaster that I bought maybe 4 years ago. Since buying this bridge, sustain is probably 50% better. Tuning is easie most likely because the strings are no longer routed through the body but run much straighter from the bridge to the tuning machines. The action is set a little lower than I was able to with the stock bridge. In short, this Babich bridge is a great product that works really, really well. My intonation is perfect, improved sustain and lower action makes for a sweet playinf Tele.
Really a very simple idea that works really well. Great design, wish I had thought of it.
Well made, looks great.
More expensive than all the other bbridge assemblys I looked at but worth it.

Looks nice,

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

I like it, but string breaking wont happen with graphtech saddles.
Love the way it looks, the way it sounds, but my first though in buying this bridge was not only to improve de sound and playing, but also to reduce string breaking, something that is happening a lot, any string, it sucks, i looked deeply into the bridge and the saddles are not completely round, i guess that is the reason why.

full contact bridge

By Pat Ingle

from Undisclosed

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

I installed this bridge myself. I do have woodworking skills but by no means am a luthier/guitar builder but this instillation was a piece of cake. If you're not sure of your ability-- STOP and take it to someone who does but your average woodworker CAN do it. the sustain is incredible AND the intonation is perfect. My made in Japan 1978 Tele is unbelievable. I also installed the original USA made Tele pickups. Now I think I'll take it apart again and install the "thru the body" ferrules like the USA made Teles have.I've done some additional body modifications. For example distressing the body and shaped the same contours that the better Teles have, exactly like the Strats have. This guitar went from a dust collector to my new best friend again. I play everyday at least 3 hrs a day.
I could go on and on about this I'm surprised Fender doesn't use them exclusively on all their guitars, Bass's included. I would not trade my old MIJ Tele for any Tele. Thanks and "just do it" U wont be dissappointed.

Best Tele Bridge

By Unclejohn595

from Georgia

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

I ordered this bridge from Musicians Friend and had my local guitar tech install it. He had never seen this bridge before and was impressed by it. My setup is now better than was possible with the three saddle bridge and fast strumming and palm muting are WAY easier. I have the American Special Tele. This bridge is nice enough quality for expensive guitars not just for hot rodding a MIM and will replace a three or six saddle style bridge.

Great Bridge

By Jon-Nolan Paresa

from Folsom, California

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

I had this installed by a professional in Sacramento his name is Woody Boyd. He called me into the shop after the initial installation to fine tune the set up. I was amazed how he could adjust each string to a precise height. I spent about another hour with him getting the exact particulars of the set up. When it was over I was simply amazed by the sustain and feel of the strings with the new bridge. I liked the fact, my palm could rest of the bridge without being irritated by the old bridge. I wrote a comment to the manufacture and the President replied directly to me. Great company, and thanks Musician's Friend for the recommendation. You folks are the best.

Two Thumbs Up

By Rogers Tele Guy

from Rogers, MN

Comments about Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge:

I have a Fender Highway One Telecaster with Fender Texas Special Pups, and a 4 way switch, that I "almost loved". Everything except the stock 3 brass barrel bridge. The bridge height adjustment set screw heads were a pain in the palm when palm muting. I was also not certain that I was as happy as I could be with the tone & sustain. After a great deal of research, I selected the Babicz Full Contact Hardware Bridge For Telecaster. Tone is subjective but I am pleased. Sustain time roughly doubled! No more "pain in the palm" from set screws when palm muting! I ordered a second bridge for a MIM Tele that I just recently purchased to hotrod. It seems like a lot of money, but the value is really there. After all, I'm the proud owner of 2 Babicz bridges now!
