A great case if your guitar fits in it. I have a G&L Rampage Tribute Jerry Cantrell model that did not fit in it. It seems to only be suited for normal Fender type strats or guitars that have the same specs as a Fender strat. It does not fit all strat type guitars though as the description says. Measure your overall guitar length and compare it to the specs on Gator's web site before you buy, because if you have to return it you have to pay the shipping costs to do so (which is B.S. in my opinion). Do your research first.
Has good features such as locks and plush interior, but be sure your guitar fits in it!

First of all check out the timeline of some of the first/past reviews on this site as they state that they have had their cases for 5 years or so and are just now reviewing the product so...I think somehting may have changed since that time.My Gator (deluxe?-not really) case just arrived today 07/09/2010 and this is more like boarderline sub-economy grade.I have 6 different cases covering several manufacturers and price ranges: Ibanez, Epiphone, 2 different-SKB's, Yamaha and now Gator. My "economy" SKB I just got last week for my thin line accoustic (close to the same price ) is way better in quality than this supposed "Deluxe" Gator case.Dollar for dollar this is the least bang for the buck out of all I own. Also, It does not match the picture provided on the site here 07/09/2010 ( mine does not have the 2 raised outter panels that show running the legnth of the case in the pic?)The hinges and latches are rather flimsy , the outside has alot of give to it, very lightweight overall. Not sure how long this will last if you take it beyond the house. I did call and this is the right case but I am thinking maybe Gator changed somehting without letting anyone know? I will keep it to avoid the hassle of returning but will move my MIM strat to this Gator case and my custom strat to the SKB. I hope this helps and I hope they take the "Deluxe" out of the name.

Exactly as described by MF. This is the perfect storage case and is very well made. I am ready to pack the car and go with this case. Obviously not for airline shipping it has a very plush interior and gave off almost no odor when opened for the first time. A perfect fit for Strats.

This case is very well made seems durable and the strap is not rubbing on guitar or being pressed into the finish. The balance is good when guitar is in or out. Room for a strap and a tool kit and a few other things. Best money I spent on a case so far great buy

The only fault I can find is the strap that holds the lid from falling back came loose. No big deal to re-glue it, stil...
I use it for a Strat and everything fits well except the straplockers make too tight a fit to leave the strap on in the case. Again, no big deal.
My friend Ray keeps trying to steal it, so I told him to get his own - he'll do it later today I'm sure!

For the price this is a great case, will it survive falling off your car, probably not. But will it protect your guitar from everyday stuff without breaking the bank, yes. Don't be an idiot, treat your case like a case and not a battering ram.This case perfectly fit an archtop guitar which I was psyched about because finding a case for an archtop that wouldn't crush the guitar but didn't let it slide around either has been next to impossible without taking out a second mortgage. Great case for your cash.

I have 2 of these. One for my Gibson melody Maker, this is a very thin bodied guitar, and this case works very well without the need for a towel to add extra space.For my Tele it is a bit more snug fit height wise, but in my opinion this case works perfect for both guitars. Very versatile case.

Bought this for my MichaelKelly Hybrid Electric and it fits well. Got this case on sale and I must say that after looking at other cases this was the best overall case for the money. I put my guitar in the case and I don't have to worry about it. I did have to make my own lid inside to keep things from moving around.

This case is pretty solid. It fits my 26.5" scale 7-string perfectly! It looks great and is compact, which I love. It is relatively light weight which would make you think that it lacks quality. But it seems to be very sturdy. It has the same durability as the Gator rack cases that I have owned. I would definitely recommend this case.
