Love the design! the stand is awesome, and the board is the perfect size. Screws on latches fell out almost immediately. If you have any pedals taller than a boss, forget using the foam inside to protect them (like a line 6 dl4 towards the back or wah.. ) or putting cords in there too as any stress trying to close it and those screws will wiggle from the mushy particle board the case is made from. terrible. no luck with customer support either so far.
Thanks to the previous reviewer for pointing out the lack of a power supply in this model, a problem which was easily and inexpensively fixed with a daisy-chain adapter. I am enjoying the combination of pedalboard and guitar stand, which means less gear to tote in and out of gigs. With the foam padding the pedals and patch cords stay in place and I have room left over for the few neccessary cords to be stored for travel. The case seems sturdy but I try not to abuse it regardless. If someone is planning on purchasing this item I would recommend also purchasing a power supply (like the daisy-chain) and some 90 degree patch cords. I have 5 pedals on the board, one of which is twice the width of the others, and it took a little bit of creative arranging to get them all in place with straight-ended cords. The only alteration I made to the case was to flip the name tag over to remind me to open the case with the pedals on the bottom, to try and prolong the life of the velcro holding the pedals in.
Video was misleading.
This seems like a very sturdy item and a cool idea if you use a pedal board, but despite the video, there is no power supply with this one. It's the Gig Box Jr PWR. Just want to let everyone know before they get it. I sent mine back because I expected and wanted the power supply with it.
I have had mine for about 5 years it is awesome! It is superior the the metal bar style ones. I will be buying another soon. you wont be disapointed. If you need to put pedals in it get a pedal board, its not ment for that. Its ment to pack up so you can have a high quality case were ever you may need. I wouldnt wast money on the metal bar type of the fender (way over priced)
