Comments about Giardinelli Premium Lightweight Trumpet Case:
8 months of solid, occasionally abusive, use and it still looks new. All features are sturdy and hold up well. Only a couple of things: zippers take a tiny bit of practice to get around corners easily, only has one mouthpiece holder, and storage isn't large enough to carry most mutes. These aren't big issues though (at least not to me).
Only one mouthpiece holder, not a huge issue though. You can always use additional mouthpiece bags. Storage area isn't big enough for mutes or a stand, but will carry tuners, valve oil, extra mouthpice bags, etc.
Used this case for about 8 months now and everything still looks great and works like a charm. Zippers are AMAZING, they're still perfect and have never gotten stuck. Interior and exterior look like new, the removable strap and handle are great. Outside is extremely sturdy, it has protected my Schilke from all falls and bumps. Vinyl exterior and rubber feet have never scuffed a floor.
Only one little, almost nonexistant thing: zippers take a tiny bit of practice to navigate around edges. They are really smooth though, and have held up admirably. It's definately not a problem, just something I thought you should know.
I purchased mine on sale, but the advertised price when I'm writing this is $50. However, considering the quality and the prices of other sturdy, protective cases, $50 seems like a pretty good deal.
