I put these on my semi-hollow Heritage and on my T-51 Hamer Tele, both sound great with Gibbie re-issues.

Comments about Gibson VR9 Vintage Reissue Pure Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:

Good strings and on my second set. I give them a 4 star rating due to first set were rusted out of box. I played them like that. Second set didn't have rust. Used on Les Paul Custom Pro.

Comments about Gibson VR9 Vintage Reissue Pure Nickel Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings feel the best under my fingers, and that is why I always come back to them. The VR9s are great on my 60th Anniversary Telecaster. They bend easier than the Fender 250Ls that came stock. I think they wear better than a lot of strings. I never break them. I've left them on for months out of sheer laziness and they still sound better than most strings. They do wear after a while, especially on these thinner sets, but they still don't break and they stay in tune. I've thought about pulling an EVH and boiling the wound strings because they really do keep their tone. I used to use the 10s on a Les Paul that I had and they were just as reliable.
