The best thing to happen in guitar protection in years.

The Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case gives your guitar a level of impact protection that rivals the protection offered by many flight cases. With some significant differences: the TRIC case weighs in just slightly heavier than a typical guitar gig bag. TRIC stands for Thermally Regulated Instrument Case - that means it provides excellent protection in extreme changes in temperature from -50° to +150°C. The Godin TRIC case is also remarkably affordable, with a price very close to that of a standard hard-shell guitar case.

Portability is a big part of what makes acoustic guitars so popular. But obviously, providing appropriate protection for your guitar when moving it, is an important consideration. Up until now, guitar players faced the choice of either a gig bag or a hard shell case to protect of their guitar. Lightweight gig bags are easy to carry but they don't offer much impact resistance. Hard shell cases, on the other hand, provide better impact protection but are much heavier and more awkward to carry.

The phenomenal combination of resilience and lightness in the Godin TRIC case is possible thanks to a high-tech material called Neopolen P Expanded Polypropylene or EPP. EPP is incredibly tough, light, and boasts exceptional thermal properties.

TRIC cases are made in Canada by The Godin Guitar Company.

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

My Martin D-28 is loose in this case. I glued in some foam spacers so it would not move around. A nice concept, but it seems like they made it big enough to accommodate ANY guitar. I think they have now updated these with more plush all over the inside and the brown cases are no longer being made. The WolfPack looks better to me and although it costs a little more I think it is worth it.

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

dont buy this product, its extreamly cheap and flimsy, its made of cheap foam, the handle and everything, i sent mine back, which cost me half the price of it in shiping. im not one of them over the top gear snobs, but this thing is not a good product, for that kind of money.

    Disappointed

    By bd

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

Where I still do find this case to be truly amazing in these facts: extremely lightweight; extremely protective to hard jolts or even being knocked over; I was really disappointed with this last purchase of this case. The first I got along with a Seagull Peppino acoustic guitar and it seemed great. I noticed my Gibson ES175 fit perfectly into the case, so I bought this second one for that purpose. But the case does not close in a sealed fashion with only the zipper to hold it closed. Too much cold air rushes in so the protective features that are supposed to keep the humidity steady and temperature steady don't work. Oddly, the original case I got (which I use for my vintage 175) seals pretty tight. Not sure why this second case doesn't close as well. For the price it's still one of the better deals out there. But I'm less impressed with this second one that I purchased.

    A Really Good Case!

    By Aubieone

    from Birmingham, Al

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

    The reasons are stated above.
This case came with my Seagull Artist Mosaic and It's really an amazing case. It is so very light! I weight 200lb, ok 205, and I stood on the neck area with no problem with the case on it's back. the body would not support that but would probably support whatever might fall on it. It might destroy the case but not the guitar. Setting on it's edge it will support me very easily anywhere on the case as long as it's zipped. I'm satisfied with it and would recomend it. Some precautions should be taken around any guitar period, cased or not.

    Had some issues

    By southernsoul

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

Well, this case came with my Seagull acoustic. It's nice, and I haven't had any problems with it other than the zipper on the top broke, so I can't carry any of my cables which is no good. It's a solid case, but I use it as a softshell. It seems pretty sturdy, but I honestly don't trust that it's as sturdy as a hardshell, but it is incredibly light, so if you're lookin for a gigbag, go for it.

    Overpriced for what you get

    By Dave-Z2Vt5

    from NW Missouri, USA

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

I ordered one of these to replace a Breedlove case which was killing my back and had rusty hardware.I had a bad feeling when it arrived in a box marked "Fragile." The case is very flimsy--not much sturdier than a gigbag. And it will not accommodate guitars which have a headstock longer than 5 inches. My Breedlove has a headstock which is 7 inches long. So this is getting shipped back today.

probably the greatest acoustic guitar case ever

    By Fuzzy-Vvoh6

    from Saint-Petersburg, Russia

Comments about Godin TRIC Deluxe Dreadnought Guitar Case:

I was looking for a good gigbag for my Seagull dreadnought when I found this case. It has thick and soft external walls, fits the guitar perfectly so it doesn't move inside and seem to provide excellent protection. Furthermore, it's even lighter than a soft padded gigbag! I have accidently dropped it several times already, and the guitar inside haven't got a scratch. The only disappoing thing about this case is that there're no shoulder strap nor back-pack straps, just one handle. Well, I'll find a way to attach them...
