Comments about Graph Tech TUSQ XL Jumbo Gibson-Style Slotted Nut - Aged White:

The replacment Gibson nut allways takes some sanding. So you have the strings closer
to the fret board. I sand mine on stone on fine grit sand paper. When you are
finished agin fine grit wet-dry sand paper will make it as (color) white as it can get.
Stone I belive is easer becuse of controle.Like tilting or pressing to on side making
your nut lopsided. Then you have to buy another or buy bunch at the same time
untill you get it right. All nuts are done this way to make your guitar/bass playable
better then when your where first starting out with you insterment.
