Place the Groove Tubes Tube Bias Tool between the output socket and the output tube to set or measure bias using the current draw method. The tool allows bias checking, setting, and adjustment in the field or anywhere with a minimum of tools. All you need is a simple meter (sold separately) and a screwdriver. Settings can be duplicated later, such as when you change tubes. This is not possible with the scope and signal generator method.
The bias tool is perfect for bands on the go, as it fits in any toolbox. The average cost for a bias adjustment can be $50, so the Tube Bias Tool can pay for itself very rapidly.

The picture and lack of description are misleading. You can get the same thing on ebay from ohter reputable manufactures for half the price. Just A socket and a flimsy manual with manufacturer reprints in it.
If you have a Digital Volt Meter and a basic knowledge of electronic safety, this device will pay for itself the first time you use it. The book that comes with it is very informative. Keep in mind that vacuum tube equipment contains potentially lethal high voltage even when not plugged in.
