It's a beautiful case and seems like it is made well. My select super swede fits like a glove and i love the vintage tweed look. time will tell if the Hagstrom lettering wears. As for now , I am very happy with this case. I really don't care were it is made as long as it holds up and does it's job. Musician's Friend were very help full and I feel I received a good product at a fair price. Thank You.

Overall this case looked nice online and now that I've seen it in person I must say, I am impressed. I've seen some awfully nice cases over the years and this one is made for a King! This is a vintage tweed covered hard case, generously padded inside with your standard interior storage compartment. The Hagstrom Logo is nicely printed on the outside of the carved top dressed with gold-tone clasps and hinges. This case is top of the line. Guitars of this caliber deserve a case to match the build quality and this case delivers. This case has vintage writted all over it and should provide many years of service for the touring musician. This is worth every penny and fits my Super Swede like a pair of new shoes!
No nonsense case. Gold tone clasps and hinges. Interior storage compartment and very comfortable vinyl handle.
Far exceeds this price range. This is nicely appointed with the tweed covering, arched top cover and scripted Hagstrom logo. This case is a steal at this price, what was Hagstrom thinking!
Best buy award in my opinion. I've paid more and received much less. This case is top of the line and is suitable for the guitar that lies within.

The worst part about this experience was the customer service, when I asked customer service rep about the quality of this product, I was told that it was a Canadian made higher quality product, which was a bold faced lie. Totally dishonest. Here's a suggestion for musicians friend, next time you sell a product, make sure you know your product, so when a customer buys something, you can inform them honestly of the quality of the product they are buying. Because I live in Canada, I cannot just ship this back to them, or I would, and than I would never Buy from Musicians friend ever again. And I will not buy from this company again. When I contacted customer service about my concerns, I was told that it was my responsibility to be better informed, but had they answered my questions about this product, correctly to begin with I would have been better informed. BUYER BEWARE
For the price tag, buy a cheaper case, you'll get a better product.
Greatly displeased with the quality of this case. There are two places that this case is manufactured. One is in China, and the other is Canada. The Canadian made case is far more superior in quality. When I placed my order for this case, I asked the customer service rep, which case they sold, I was assured that there cases were the Canadian made. I received mine only to find that it was made in China. The Chinese cases smell really bad, the so called textured feel, sucks. The liner inside the case is thinner than the Canadian made cases. You can tell immediately the difference from the interior. The Canadian made cases are plusher, and are a brown color, the Chinese cases are thin and a black color, and smell really bad, like glue. The exterior of the Canadian made case, has a more textured look and feel. These Chinese cases are terrible. If you want a nice fair priced case don't buy this case from Musicians friend

I purchased this case for my Select Ultra Swede guitar. The instrument fits perfectly with just enough headroom to make putting it in and getting it out easy but snug enough that there's no chance of my axe getting jostled around in there.Attractive tweed style Tolex cover seems tough and durable and looks slick. Interior "fur" is soft and plush. Tight fitting top is secured with five gold clasps (one locking with included key). Clasps are well secured to the case and do what they're supposed to do. Keep the case securely closed.Having a well made, matching case for your Hag is well worth the $ you'll spend.

The case is great and keeps the guitar protected and keeps it from getting dusty.The only bad thing was that the logo ,hagstrom , wore off in about a month.
