Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
Holds neck well. Takes a second to figure out how to use it and release the neck. Adjustable to proper height. Nice finish and light-weight material. Bottom swivel that holds base of guitar is the weak point...can easily fall off if turned too far and gives the feeling of flimsy design. Used it for my acoustic and bass guitar. Good purchase for the sale price.

Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
Though the Grabbit is better than cheap stands with figure-8 rubber bands to secure the guitar neck, I have to use two hands to remove the guitar from the Grabbit- one to hold the top of the stand, the other to push the headstock against the mechanism so it will release. I'm also not wild about how the upper part of the stand attaches to the bottom part. For some reason, tightening the set screw makes the top part lean back a little, so that the top and bottom of the tubing doesn't look straight.
Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
Musician's Friend replaced the defective stand I had received and I'm a happy camper. Pretty cool return policy for an on-line retailer. Way to go MF ! Thanks.
Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
When I saw a Hamilton made guitar stand on sale as the Deal of the Day I bought two. Upon arrival one stand was broken and the other was what I expected; great Hamilton build and feature innovation. The cost to return the defective stand was enough to just right off the problem as a loss. I would buy the Hamilton Grabbit stand at regular price if I was confident that MF would ship quality product. So the question is whether Hamilton has a quality assurance problem with their finished goods or is MF shipping out product that came back on RMA without verifying whether the returned product being sent back out for sale was defective or not. You decide. I'll be heading "back home in Indiana" for future purchases with the confidence I won't receive defective product. Cheers.
Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
this guitar stand is a great stand if you are planning on putting a very light guitar on it. i have a dean edge 05 bass and its pretty heavy. i bought this stand at the same time i bought the guitar. the stand lasted me about three or four months. the part that the guitar body sets on just broke off one day. it didnt damage my bass but if you have a expensive or heavy instrument, i wouldnt recommend this stand.
Comments about Hamilton Grabbit Guitar Stand:
I own this stand, and let me first say I have been playing guitar since I was 5, I'm 40 and still playing 70+ shows a year! Let's get things clear about this "MORE THAN A GUITAR STAND!" , if you care about your Guitars, then you should have this stand, if your a performer then you should have this stand, even if you are at home or in the studio you should have this stand! Bottom Line if you don't have this stand , then take your guitars and lay them on the floor, even better yet cut your guitar up and make it an end table, cuz if you care about your gear then GET THIS GRABBIT STAND! It does JUST THAT, it GRAB"S IT! and keeps it SAFE! For Year I always questioned WHY HASN'T ANYBODY MADE something I can trust my guitars sitting on! FINALLY!! HERE IT IS! I Can actually SIT IT DOWN and WALK AWAY , and not even think about it taking a fall. Get one, better yet get 5, tell your friends !!THis is the greatest GUITAR STAND EVER BUILT !!GRABBIT ALREADY, or Why Bother Playing It!!Joey DePasquale
