OVERVIEW

Never accidentally knock your guitar off the stand again.

The Tri Stand Guitar Stand safely supports 3 guitars or basses. Features innovative Hercules Auto Grab System (AGS) yokes: the arms turn in and up with the weight of your guitars to hold them securely and simply open up when you lift them off. All contact points with the instruments feature Specially Formulated Foam rubber is used on all the contact points between the stand and your instrument to protect its finish. Also features the Hand Grip Height Adjuster, which makes adjustments a breeze with a locking pin to secure the stand in place. Folding backrests flip down to support your guitars and back up for storage and transport.

All Hercules stands are safe for most nitrocellulose lacquer finish guitars*.

*Hercules tests for many types of nitro finish, however some guitar manufacturers change their nitro mixture often. Guitars should never be stored on a stand...always in the case.

A very good product over all, could it be improved, yes, but it's already the best, imho, on the market so. Secure grasping mechanism, worry no more. Stable footprint although orientation of leg in relation to guitar body is apparently to maximize stability but compromises comfort lowering a guitar straight on top of a kicker leg, don't miss. Body support foam covered back braces are nice, functional adjustability is minimum, not allowing for placement directly behind the set neck/ body intersection construction of many guitars, perhaps an additional set up for the upper section of the stand which is exactly where the neck/ body connect is on my guitar. Is this important you ask? It happened to me, came home from work and found my guitar broken in half, still on the, sounds like alexander hamilton, stand. That stand was a neck hang only, very bottom of the guitar body support, nothing in the middle. Problem solved with this stand. 3 in 1 works for me, less stands as I gig with multiple guitars, also saves space in the studio. Feels sturdy and secure, I might have shortened the shaft on the upper hanging device to create a little backward leaning slant, more weight resting against the lower support, wonder if they'll blow around in a stiff breeze. Good looking, quality feeling actuating mechanisms, love the "home shop" beads at the hanger shaft to top nut, hey, it's welded, fine with me. Couldn't be happier with this stand overall... well I could but nobody's listening so.

Hercules Stands is not a business you need to be doing business with. I have two three guitar stands and two single stands. The rubber on the grip all of stands has turned to goo. The lock spring came loose on one and dropped the guitars to the floor.

The place where I bought the stands is no longer in business thus I have no way to contact Hercules as their website states that I must go through a dealer.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

I received this as a gift. When I perform or use in the studio, I need a stand for guitar, banjo, and mandolin. This handles the guitar and mandolin just fine, but the banjo tuner sits on the holder, detuning the string. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but they don't have a 3-instrument holder with a "universal" hanger, even though they make one. Plus, I couldn't contact the manufacturer as they only refer you to distributor.

This is NOT your average stand! It is for those who truly love their instruments and need to minimize space. Mine holds a Strat, a Les Paul and a Martin D-41 with no issues. The price is well worth the quality. I love mine!

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

I saw another review where somebody downrated this stand because they guessed that six string basses won't work on this stand. Kind of crummy, in my opinion, to take stars away without firsthand knowledge.

When I had one of these stands, I had two six string basses. It was a snug fit due to the wide necks, but I thought it was more stable because of it. In fact, I'm here today because I'm thinking about playing out again and this is the only stand I'll consider using.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

Great Stand, only one flaw. the hex bolt that holds the three-prong top to the stand stripped instantly when attempting to reposition. Don't know if this was just an issue with mine... While the bottom movable prongs can face any direction you are forced to have the guitars sit straight over the stand legs. This limits how compact this unit can be (very slightly)

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

The Hercules triple guitar stand is overall great for any electric guitar or uto 34 inch scale bass. The Hercules stand is not a good choice for 35 inch or more bass guitars since they touch the bottom of the stand at its highest settings. I don't own a 6 string bass yet but wonder if one would fit in this stand since the holders are about 2 inches wide. Otherwise a great way to store 3 guitars.

Used my bass players Hercules stand for years, got a different bass player, so I had to buy my own. Play 80's Glam rock, so I need a stand that holds 3 guitars, this does the trick and doesn't take up a bunch of room on the stage.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

I bought this for our lead guitar played so he could easily have at least two guitars, one in standard tuning and one in dropdown, so that we dont have any dead time in between songs when we do gigs (about weekly anymore). Our rhythm guitar player already had one for electric and acoustic/electric guitars, so we knew just what we were getting. It is VERY stable, strong and secure, and hey, that is what you want when you're going to hang musical instruments on it. It is expensive, but I think its worth it. I play fiddle so I dont need one, but it's great for the band.

We have 3 of these at our church for the past 3 years and hands down the best stands I have used. We use them to hold bass guitars, acoustic and electrics. The ease of use, the sturdiness and security...I was worried about setting my Gibson acoustic in any old guitar stand. I just bought my 4th tri-stand for me to use at home...They truly will last for years to come!

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

Solid, well built guitar stand with a unique mechanism to prevent the guitar from falling out. The weight of the instrument pulls the yoke down and the two little "arms" rotate from a vertical to a horizontal position over top of the neck. Easy access to the guitar - just grab it and pick it up. Seems well balanced with one, two or three of my acoustic guitars on the stand. Nice way to showcase your instruments even if you don't use them in a performance and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I would recommend even a cheap black bag to carry the stand in, if for nothing else, just to keep it from getting scratched up while in transit. The box appears to double as a carrying case with a plastic handle on it but a bag would be nicer especially considering the price and the quality of the stand.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

I have had Hercules single stands for a couple of years. The Tri model for a short time. I like the stand for my guitars, but prefer a single stand for my P bass. The reason being, the TriStand has to be adjusted high for the Bass,it works fine that way, but seems a little shaky. With 3 guitars, I adjust the stand so the longest guitars bottom is about 2" from the top of a leg. Having the stand as short as possible, makes it more stable. I think one thing to consider, is when placing a Guitar in these stands, is to do it gently rather then clunk them in. The only problem have seen with one, is the owner was rough when putting his guitar in it, and, one of the fingers quit flipping like it should, after a year of that. I recommend the TriStand highly.

When you consider the value of the guitars I hang in this stand, the price is a paltry sum. The wide stance of the legs insures that you would really have to work to tip this over. Even with a heavy guitar hanging alone. I was originally drawn to this stand because I frequently use my original '76 Firebird and with the odd body shape and the extreme length, not every stand will work. This one does! The auto lock makes for fast guitar changes with no straps or rubber keepers to worry with. If only all accessories were made with this kind of quality. If you use more than one guitar on stage you need this stand!

I am fortunate to have a collection of guitars, electric and acoustic, from tenor to bass to 6-strings to 12 strings. I learned long ago that if the guitar isn't at hand, it will be ignored. This stand is superior to every other form of stand or hanger on the market. It holds 3 for the price of 2 similar stand-alones. With a bass and a tenor and a dreadnought on it, I can pick it up by the center post and move room to room, with the instruments securely locked in. Go ahead, buy one. Guitars are made to be played.

Comments about Hercules Stands GS432B Tri Stand Guitar Stand:

I got two of these and my reaction has been "Wow!". When I first took them out of the box and they were still folded up, they reminded me of professional quality video or photography tripods. They are stout, heavy, and overbuilt the way everything in the world should be. The legs are wide and there is no way these stands are going to tip over. The automatic gates work perfectly with anything from a very lightweight 3/4 size acoustic guitar to a heavy solid body Les Paul bass and everything in between. The height adjustments are very well designed, too. The only problem I encountered was that even with the stand at its highest adjusment, the body of my excessively large acoustic bass guitar (Tacoma) still hit the leg of the stand. But, I was easily able to modify the stand so that things were rotated 60 degrees and the body of that bass fell between the stand's legs. The stand is slightly less stable this way, but there is still no danger of it tipping over. These stands are a bargain even at the high price. Anyone with expensive or cherished guitars needs to have one or more of these for protection. They are hands dowm the best stands available by a wide margin.

This is a fantastic product. It is sturdy, extremely well-designed, and totally practical. Right when I took it out of the box and set it up for the first time, I couldn't help but give a chuckle for how smart the design is.This stand is somewhat pricy, but it is most definitely worth it. This is evident when it securely holds your precious Les Paul Faded, Musicman Axis, G&L F-100 RE (one of my babies), or anything that is sentimental to you. Switching guitars is a snap, and no more worrying about the strap latching onto the floor stand, dragging it into your other guitar(s).I strongly recommend this product! It is a smart buy.

I've owned this for a few years; a bit pricey, but well-worth it.
