Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Put these on my travel guitar, 1/2 sized Luna. Did what I wanted, reduced tension on the neck without sacrificing tone. Added plus of increased playability. Don't know how long these will last but John Pearse has the rep for lasting.

Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Beautiful clean, crisp sound. Very easy to play, very easy on your fingers. The John Pearse extra light non coated strings are by far the best I've ever used. They are so my go-to kind!!

I would buy the product again if strings are sealed properly

Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

The Styings are some rust or some dirt build up! It's probably the strings are not airtight packaging! Moisture or dust will penetrate causing rusti and dirt accumulates when packaging is not sealed airtight or not moisture proof!
I felt bad because I did not expect it with my high hope I found the best strings to play but end up with a bunk

Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings sound clear and crisp without a lot of string noise and also are just the right mix of brightness and a solid low end. Delicious!

I use these on an Exotic woods Ibanez Acoustic and the sound is really wonderful--they seem to project a warm, golden-y tone.
        I'm glad I found them.

Dave from St. Louis likes these strings

        By Dag

        from St. Louis

Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I am a big fan of John Pearse strings.
John Pearse are my favorite sounding acoustic strings. They are bright and alive sounding...and they have proven to be durable. I opted for 10 guage so that I could bend a little easier without affecting the tone too much. I am happy with the results.

If you have never tried them then you are in for a treat!! They are flat out the best sounding, longest lasting, easiest playing strings I have ever used! I have used them for years now and I am tickled that they are getting easier to buy. Give them a try and you will never look back!

Comments about John Pearse 100XL 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I've been playing for 30 years, and these are the best strings I've ever used. They have great sound, playability, and last a LOOOOOOONG time. I used to buy them for full price at guitar boutiques and gladly paid the higher amount. A big 'Thank You' to this site for carrying them at a low price.
