They where not a direct replacement of my original Gibson tuners, but they are better!  They made string changing and tuning stability alot better...So try them out! They where worth the change!

Nice Fit, Marginal Change...except for locking

I replaced the Klusons on my 2007 LP studio. They always seemed kind of a weak link in the gtr.      I opted for these replacements as they seemed to be an exact fit-no drilling.      Also," i really like locking tuners as they take the hassle out of changing strings.      The tuners seemed almost identical to the ""gibson deluxe"" on the gtr....got me worried they WERE actually the same and would have same issues.      Some very minor differences", don't know if they are actually made different.      Anyway, installation was a breeze.      Only issue was the new screws seemed a little larger than the originals, so i used the original screws....in case, i want to remove the tuners in the future and the hole was larger.      All holes matched up, one tuner had a hole that was a little tight for the screw, but in the end no prob.      Strung up the gtr, tuned it, stretched strings, retuned and then played..and I'll be damned they held very nice.      I did put a little dab of nut grease on the nut and the saddles.      Played about an hr and all good.      Picked up gtr next day and still in tune!! Played with my band last night and it was in tune out of the case and stayed nicely in tune throughout 3hrs of R n R, with lots of bends and hard playing.      Only minor tuneups required.. All In all a nice product and an easy intstall.

Perfect match for a Les Paul

I installed these tuners on my Les Paul over the weekend without any problems.  There was no drilling or new screw holes required - everything was a perfect fit for an LP.  The style of the tuning keys fit right in with the original Gibson ones, both shape and colour.  The screw on the top of the headstock is a little different, but the locking feature is what I was after.  They only appear long when looking from the side angle (player's view only) My strings are staying in tune better than before, even with putting on new strings at the same time as installing the tuners.  I am pleased with this product.

I have a Gibson SG Standard with the stock Gibson tuners and since replacing the stock tuners with these locking tuners ive noticed a big diffrence. first off ive noticed that the strings dont slip like they used to. secondly ive noticed that the locking tuners feel sturdier than the stock ones. its a great feeling to not have to tune your guitar every 5 minutes.

Great Tuner Upgrade

I installed these on my Gibson Les Paul Studio. Every hole lined up perfectly, no drilling required. The nickel finish top pieces look nice. My house is subject to alot of temperature changes and I have already noticed my guitar staying in tune much better. I recommend hand stretching each string before tuning when you replace them. While you don't have to wind the strings on the post, the string itself still has some stretch in it. I believe once the new strings are broke in a little more these tuners will be very nice. Overall I am satisfied with these tuners.
