This tuner with adjustable-angle display keeps your instrument sounding sweet.
The AW-2G comes with an adjustable-angle clip pad that attaches securely to all guitar headstock or other flat instrument surfaces. The AW-2G's display can be moved to either side of the clip, and when positioned behind the headstock, is not visible to an audience.
The tuner's double ball-joint allows multi-angle positioning with far greater mobility for the display section. An internal backlight lets you easily see the display, even on a dimly lit stage, and the backlight can be switched between Soft mode for low illumination and the high-brightness Auto mode, or turned off for well-lit situations. The energy-saving Auto mode automatically switches to the low-power Soft mode when no sound is present.
The AW-2G has a tuning range of A0 to C8 and a full complement of solid tuning functionality. Special markings indicate pure major third and minor third intervals for authentic consonance. The Calibration function accommodates a variety of concert pitches. Users can select either the internal mic or the vibration-sensing Piezo sensor for optimum response, which ensures stable tuning even in a noisy environment. A Meter Reverse function allows tuning from any viewing angle. The tuner is powered by a widely available CR2032-type lithium battery (included), and with the backlight off, the battery life is an amazing 150 hours. Auto Power Off maximizes the battery life and a Memory Backup function is also included.

I've used alot of different tuners. For me, korg is the way to go. I find that any of the others in the same price range tend to be fickle, and so difficult to get them to zero in on a note that they are almost useless.I love being able to clip it to the headstock, and tuneup in a noisy room while standing. Also, quick tuning on stage is a breeze. I've had this for a few months, and it hasn't fallen apart yet, though it seems like i could. But if you're at all careful with your gear, don't worry.

I liked the idea of having both a mic and piezo interface, however despite having a switch on the back supposedly switching between the two, the mic was not disabled, allowing ambient noise to interfere with tuning. Even the instructions say "Minimize ambient sounds while tuning". Don't know if mine was defective in the fact that I couldn't switch off the mic, but I wasn't taking a chance on another one. Seemed pretty flimsy as well. I exchanged for the Intellitouch PT10 which is the BOMB.

This is a handy little tool. Well worth the money. While I can tune by ear, having this support what I hear is comforting. What I couldn't do before was tune the octave higher (12th fret) for adjusting the bridge. Now I'm tuned throughout the fret board. Found it cool how it could even tell me the chord I'm playing. If you turn the mic on, you can sing into it and it will tell you what note you are singing in. I'm not a signer but found that cool. Seems to be very accurate.

Besides being as accurate as any small tuner I've tried, this one sits happily clipped right to my fiddle's bridge - something I wouldn't try with a bigger, bulkier tuner - and therefore is positioned to get the best reading of the sound.

This is my first headstock tuner and I love it! Much easier to use than my old plug-in. I have acoustic and electric guitars and it works great on both in piezzo mode. Wish I had gotten one long before this. Well worth the money.

It's much smaller than it appears in the photo, which concerned me at first. But with the back light on, I have no trouble seeing it. It's much easier to use than the old Korg tuner I have that just has a microphone. On the old one I have to place the tuner near the sound hole, and it is quite awkward. With this little device, I just clip it on the head stock, tune up, and play. It's great for a person with aging eyes and ears like me.

I have several tuners, including one on my amp and this one is more accurate than the amp and the Snark. However, to get it on the money I have to hit the harmonic on each string on the 12th fret to get it to stop jumping. It "jumps" just the same regardless if I'm tuning my acoustic or electric. It does have a light which makes it easy to tune in low light...but getting the tuning perfect takes alittle extra effort, thus the "average" rating..

Works on bass and guitar. Very adjustable on the angle which is nice. Didn't try the mic option the piezo works great. Bass is the most demanding on a tuner and this one is fast and true. Only tryed on a 4 string bass though.
I'm thinking of getting a second one.
