This is a really good cleaning spray for guitar that I was recommended to use and it's great. It has a good smell and it's simple to use and really gives your frets the shine that it needs. Love it.

Comments about Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil:

This is a great way to shine up your guitar but be careful when using, you spray it thinking not much is coming out then you realize that your entire guitar is covered in it and your floor and you have to spend some time cleaning all of that too. On the bright side my entire instrument was shiny after words.

Best guitar and fretboard cleaner available.

I've been using Kyser Lem-Oil on my guitars for over 15 years now and have to say that I wouldn't use anything else. After a few applications your fingers will be gliding over the fretboard.

Many people would probably disagree with this, but I find it to be an excellent choice for cleaning the entire guitar. I started this all those years ago at the suggestion of a luthier friend of mine and haven't used anything else since. The lem-oil goes on clean and dries clean, with the wood soaking up just what it needs to keep from drying out; an important thing, especially during the winter months when the heater is running.

Don't use too much - a little goes a long way - and you'll be very pleased with the results.

            Great stuff

Comments about Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil:

Used it to clean and condition the (unusually dirty) rosewood fingerboards on my new acoustic-electric guitars and it did an excellent job. The rosewood looks really good after an application. Note: An earlier review recommended using it on rosewood or ebony, which is fine, but said not to use it on maple because it is "denser". This is misleading: the actual reason is because maple fingerboards usually have a finish on them, and this product is for unfinished wood.

            Lem-Oil=Renewal

            By JohnWhirl

Comments about Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil:

I just finished cleaning the Rosewood fretboard on my Les Paul and the Ebony one on my Taylor 614 last night with this product, and all I can say is wow! This Lem oil has brought the life back to my fret boards. My Taylor had dis-colored streaks in the board in the first 4 frets from lots of use, but by following the directions for extra polish and reconditioning (only 20 minutes) these streaks are gone, and my Ebony board looks almost brand new. It also did wonders for my Les Paul too. I have owned it for 4 years, and this was the first time using any type of product on the fretboard (ok so probably a no no to wait so long) but it restored the shine, and beauty of the board. This product is excellent, and I will definitely keep on using it, and recommend it highly!

            The Best

Comments about Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil:

the Best lemon oil out there for guitars. good for rosewood. however, it should not be used all the time, it should be used sparingly, and never with the strings on, or else cause faster corosion of the strings. i apply mine on every timei change the strings ( a month or two), using it like that, the lemon oil should last you a long time ( i've had the same bottle over a year now)

An inexpensive way to preserve your guitar.

This is the best kept secret in guitar care. Just spray this stuff on your ebony fretboard, and it makes it look brand new. I don't pretend to know all the science behind it, but this stuff really preserves the wood. And for the price, there is no excuse for neglecting your fretboard.

Does wonders for Fingerboard and Strings!

            By f0rl0rn

            from Oklahoma City

Comments about Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil:

I use this every 6 months on my guitars that have fingerboards that require lubrication such as rosewood or ebony. Great for the neck, cleans it and moistureizes...for those necks such as maple that don't require lube, I use every time I change strings as it GREATLY prolongs string life and playability while also reducing friction and fret noise etc. As it bonus it smells great.I highly reccomend this product, but one word of caution if you have a hardwood neck that requires lubrication/moisturization periodically like ebony or rosewood, do nut use it more frequently than every 6 months as you could over saturate the wood and actually damage the fretboard. That being said, every guitarist should have this.
