This strap is only slightly less attractive than The Most Beautiful Strap in the World, the Levy's 3" Acorn and Oak Tooled strap. In fact, the two straps are identical except for the colors and the tooling. Both are cut from thick saddle leather that is solid as a rock. Both are so wide that they never slip off your neck. Both are so thick that they will not fold over and the edges won't cut into your flesh. Both are so substantive that they will never come off the strap-holder buttons and send your precious guitar flying helplessly into pavement oblivion.
The tooling is deep and impressive and the red color looks good with the reddish tortoise finish of my Tele pickguard. And I love paisleys. Furthermore, as the surface of the leather wears, this strap and its tooling will only buff and look better. You'd better put this stap in your will because it will surely outlive you. And the price isn't so bad for a lifetime of service.
There are only two minor issues I have with this strap. The paisley pattern of tooling is not quite as attractive as the acorn and oak tooling on Levy's other strap. And the red color is not quiet attractive as the walnut color of that other strap. Nevertheless, I chose this strap for my backup Mexican Tele custom and I use it almost every day without growing tired of it or running into any problems. I guess there's no recommendation any better than that.

Really struggled to find the right strap for a 5 string Fender Custom Shop Bass. It's pretty heavy and needed a strap with some oomph and also the right look for a really nice looking bass.
Pattern on the leather is very cool.

The quality of the leather along with a great design pattern make this strap a keeper. Additionally, the 3" width helps provide comfort and support for those longer sessions.
High quality leather with a great 70s type pattern. Also, the 3" width is just what I need to help disperse the weight of my guitar since my cervical spine is almost completely fused.
The quality of the leather is top notch. The coloration is uniform throughout and looks great. When the leather breaks in I'm sure it will only get better.
Great price for a super product. I'm going to buy another one.

The title says it all, "Levy's is da best!!" I have 8 guitars, and I have a Levy's strap for each of them, and Schallers straplocks for my 6 electric guitars. The Straplocks won't work on my Acoustic/Electrics, because the bottom strap button is also where you plug the cable in. But to the last guy who was having trouble removing his strap when stowing the guitar in the case, get yourself a set of straplocks, and your problem is solved. Dollar for dollar, Levy's makes the finest straps going.

I bought this strap to go with my red 6 string bass. It was very comfortable, I didn't realise how big of a diffrence it made untill I switched straps with one of my 4 string basses. Wow, this strap made my 6 string waayyy lighter feeling, and I just put it on my 4 string and--It is amazingly comfortable. The 4 string doesn't match the strap at all, so I put it up upside down, or reverse-however. It looks great and wears just as comfortable with the black side up. It's lasted for about 2 years now and is not wearing at all, even after reversing it. Amazing strap, wouldn't buy another.

This is a great strap! I have chronic right neck and shoulder pain (but not enough to stop me from playing). The width of the strap helps distribute the weight of the guitar over a larger surface area. The padding is nice touch too. The leather is very thick so the strap is very difficult to remove from the guitar. This makes it hard to put the guitar back in the case. I have to just remove the strap from the bottom peg and place the strap between the guitar and the case. But I like this strap enough to order another one for my other guitar.
