this little contraption is a great idea, but it kills your tone, I bought a pack to save money rather than buy a cable with a right angled end and used one into the wah pedal on my board(as i had a separate wah pedal and a multi effects unit) and a straight cable to the multi effects. When I used just the wah with two straight cables the wah sounded great, when i used this adapter the wah did its job, but i had no tone whats so ever. I ended up going back to the Guitar Center store I bought them at and buying a right angled cable. If tone is important to you, just bite the bullet and buy a cable with a right angle end, you'll spend a few more bucks, but its worth it.

Great design for chaining forward facing pedals to side input pedals. I use it with another offset plug and it makes a nice, short, solid connection between pedals.
It's also good for plugging in my SG to a straight input plug. That way I can switch between my strat (which requires a straight input cord) and my SG, which has the input on the guitar's face. The plug sticking straight out on the SG always gets in the way.
Unfortunately, I ordered 2 to start with, and 1 was DOA.
I like the all metal construction, so it's still worth ordering another one.

Well made, really good quality, had got some over a year ago, just bought some more, they're great in tight spaces. the knurls are cut good and deep, which enable a good grip, for install or uninstall.

Comments about Live Wire 1/4" Right Angle Adapter:
I bought these because I needed to convert a couple of cables to right angle connectors on one end. These did not fit the application I had in mind because they are more bulky than I expected. However, if you need to convert a cable end to right angle in an emergeny these may work for you as long you have space for the hookup.
Comments about Live Wire 1/4" Right Angle Adapter:
The adapters I received were not the ones pictured. The internal contact was bent so far shut that I could not insert a cable and when I very gently attempted to bend it back, it broke. So I grabbed the other. Same problem. It didn't break but the cable will not even go all the way in the jack, no matter what I do. Even when it makes contact the resulting sound is terrible, probably due to there being NOTHING insulating the ground. Great buy if you feel like soldering and fixing it yourself, otherwise, get real cables...
Comments about Live Wire 1/4" Right Angle Adapter:
Got one of these several months ago for use with a 7-string bass with a side-body jack. It works exactly as it should. No effect on tone whatsoever. The only minor problem I had with it after a while was intermittent but very infrequent signal cutouts, but I fixed this by duct taping the adapter to the cable. Will definetely be getting more of these whenever I buy straight-straight cables.
Comments about Live Wire 1/4" Right Angle Adapter:
I would have to disagree with the guy who said this adapter killed his tone. I didn't notice any difference in the tone after using it. It appears to be made from the same heavy duty chromed steel that guitar cord jacks are made from, so I'm not sure how it could change your tone. It's just a metal extension of the guitar cord jack itself. I have a real crowded pedal board and got three of these, which made it much easier to attach or swap out guitar or patch cords.

Comments about Live Wire 1/4" Right Angle Adapter:
I use this item between two pedals, one is running into an effects loop and the other is running to the amp, fits perfectly and allowed me to keep my pedal board the way I wanted it rather than rearranging to fit a cable in. awesome
