My cable box contains several Live Wire microphone, instrument and speaker cables. It is a decent cable for the price and a welcomed step up from the cheaper cables. What perturbs me is the lax quality control of the construction. The pictures on the Musician's Friend Webpage show the shrink band in the proper location; under the connector back shell which gives added durability at the connector. With Live Wire, its a crapshoot. My speaker cables were constructed properly, thank goodness, since they take a lot of abuse but, without exception, my Live Wire mic cables have the heat shrink band several inches back from the connector. Not only is this ineffective, it adds inflexibility to the cable in that region; such that I have to carefully remove it with an Exacto knife.

The cable is fine for the money, but no more than you would expect at that price. At first, I thought I was having some minor problems with the SM-58 that I purchased to replace my 35 year old SM-58, but alas, when I tried another mic cable, you could hear the (minor) improvement. Glad it wasn't the mic. The cable is fine for the money, but if you are going to doing recording or working in a venue where you really care about the quality of the vocals, you might want to consider a higher quality cable. I have not used it enough to know about durability.

The cable is fine for the money, but no more than you would expect at that price. very nice cable to have. it is durable and sounds clean running to my mixing board for use when recording. has a nice clean sound live also. i have just begun learning about recording, so im not as experienced and knowledgable as the experts. however, i am satisfied.

I would buy these again if we need any more cables to replace.
I got these cable for our church to replace our 1/4" cables. I didn't want to buy the cheaper ones because I wanted somting that would not cause any problem. I found these to be very good and now our wireless mic's sound better than before.
Cables seen to be made very well.
For the money they one of the better ones.

These were needed for a stage set-up involving some vocal effects pedals. The client was short on time and cash. These were chosen primarily because of their length and the recommendations of a couple of people who had used EXM products. Since they went into the signal chain, there have been no issues. I'm not sure if they will stand up should the client decide to take her show on the road, but for now, these have proven to be a good purchase for the price. The Neutrik connectors are big positive.
These have proven to be good utility cables for project that came up suddenly. Signal is clear. Not sure how robust they will be over time. They don't have that "rugged" appearance of some of the more expensive cables, if that makes sense.
So far, so good. They have only been in the signal path for a few days, but so far there doesn't seem to be any undo coloring of the sound.
For the price, a good patch cord.

These cables work great. I bought 4 a year ago and just added 2 more. When a short run is needed this is the ticket. I use them between equiptment in the rack and between the snake and the direct boxes on stage.

Neutrik Ends, and the heat shrink kinda offset from the connectors (kinda pointless) makes the cable less prone to bend I guess.
Pretty good cables, got a good feel. They sound great, no hum or buzz.
